I was really glad to see Warplanes: A History of Aerial Combat on sale for $0.99. I've been waiting for that title to drop in price. It's not been on sale since release. I was happy to grab it for $1. App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store. Their other book title, War in the Pacific, was on sale during a previous holiday sale, and I really enjoyed it. It doesn't appear to be on sale now, but it's a really good app for the history buffs out there. Not getting any of Gameloft's game. They LOST ALL my respect by IAP-Wh0ring latest games such as Let's Golf 3 and Real Soccer 2012. The worst thing is , Real soccer 2012 is so darn bad, even the past installments (2011, 2010, 2009) are much much better. Gameloft you should wake up and read all the shockingly bad reviews.
Na they make enough money. Why bother? Unless sales are going down nothing will be done. Imo they can release what they want, unless its freemium.
U should wake up and realize not everyone thinks like u do. My opinion: it's the fans they're after, the money is just a side bet. Watch the reviews steadily rise and then tell me everyone hates freemium. When they release good games, people will buy them whether it's from GL or not unless they take business personally. For the record, I do not support freemium but I do see the point in it. I have even written to GL my desire for them to continue pushing premium games. I hope they listen. Protesting freemium is pointless, IMO. Supporting premium has a legitimate cause.
I think that Gangstar Rio looks pretty cool. The vehicles are not even close to the quality that Grand Theft Auto 3's vehicles are. ESPECIALLY the motorcycles.
Nope, it's not in any way shape or form "really good". A better question would be is it worth your buck (silent ops is probly one of gameloft's least good games non-freemium they put out recently)
Silent Ops is genuinely the worst shooter they've made. Seriously, don't get it. Just grabbed Gangstar Rio though even though i haven't started GTA III. Backstab 9mm Gangstar Rio Rainbow Six - Shadow Vanguard NOVA 2 Fast 5 Asphalt 6 (but was free last week) Spiderman Total Mayhem Driver Castle Frenzy These are the best 10 from their sale for anyone wondering.
Same here. Never finished it. The only time I've felt truly ripped off by GL. The graphics weren't half bad though.
I bet you NEVER even played Real Soccer/Football to begin with. I along with all my friends have all the installment since 2009. We all agree, along with MANY comprehensive reviewers, agree that Real Soccer 2012 is a major step backward. The game lost many of the best gameplay mechanism that was in RS2011, and we are all stunned. To make matters worst, RS2012 evovled into an obvious money sucking marketing-change to that franchise. Play the games first, read the reviews, before you come back with ANY sensible reply.
@alienSEX, ur right I haven't but my point was regarding freemium more than the game itself. Many people like the free games just as much as others can't stand it.
@Aliensex---boycotting premium games won't make gameloft switch out from freemium. Quite the opposite actually. Though to be truthful I don't see many games that look interesting in this crop of sales @Madman100---No offense, but if you think gameloft is after the fans not the money with freemium, you have got to be out of your mind. Freemium creates a weaker game, turning good series' into weak series'. Freemium is a 'get rich quick off people trapped into paying to play' from them. There's no way freemium is about the fans not the money. It's the reverse.
