Let's Golf $10 and Tiger Woods $10...I'd choose Let's Golf in a heartbeat. I think it's WAY better. Now Let's Golf $1....not even have to think. I bought it at $6 but will tell my friends to pick it up for a $1.

When I first brought my device in late jan I brought Ferrari over Asphalt 4, mainly because I had the first mobile asphalt game on my Nokia 7610 from a few years ago. Now though, dispite being so cheap, I do wonder if I should buy it. I will have fun with it for a bit but now I have RR, Fastlane, Ferrari and a few others... oh hell it's 59p i'll buy it! *edit* also at launch, let's golf was only £3.29 so it was not a full $10 app, more like $6.99?
Is Asphalt good compared to other race games out there? I was contemplating about getting it for a while now...
Haha. This doesn't really effect people like me, but new iPod Touch/iPhone owners must be partying! This is a really big STEAL for people like them now.. Wow.. Maybe they saw Tiger Woods and NFS/Real Racing and said "damn"
Now I regret buying Let's Golf for 5.99 but what the hay. I hope all their games will be on sale for 0.99. If that happens I'll pick up Assassin Creed, Hero of Sparta, and others in a flash.

I agree with everyone else Asphalt was made worse with the last update but a $1 seriously? People even have to ask if its worth a $1? You can't even buy a candy bar for a $1 anymore and your gonna ask if Asphalt is worth a $1?
People ask this because they have purchased so many apps now and they want to be more strict about future purchases because they don't want to waste any more cash. I'm starting to think that i've purchased more games on the app store then I have on other platforms in my entire life!! I try not to think about it too much because if I do the math on how much I spent then I will probably cry No more game purchases for me, just free ones and anything that can possibly enrich my life lol
First Tag Games loses their minds with CJS, then Gameloft loses their minds with Siberian Strike, then PopCap loses their minds with Peggle, now Gameloft lost their minds again with Let's Golf and Asphalt 4...
Nice! I am definitely picking up Asphalt 4 for a good ol' dollar! I'll enjoy it better than a $1 double cheeseburger from McDonalds
Give it a little more consideration... Neither of these two games were likely selling very much at their prior price points. I would venture to say that both will now sell at least a million copies each by next week. Not a bad move. However, they might have tried a $2.99/$1.99 price point first, but $0.99 immediately gets impulse purchasing, whereas at the other price points some consumers may still balk.
