i dunno if im the only one that saw the overworld map... but no it doesnt look to be all fighter, it looks like its a legend of mana type game, where u got an overworld map with the different locations placed throughout that map and u travel through those. The story looks like it could get interesting... the parallel worlds part interested me... not much talking about the storyline itself, but just the fact that it has a parallel world intrigues me.

    Hello guys,

    Thank you for your interest.

It seems that many of you are interested in the story.

At this point, I can say that the story is pretty epic - I would say more than ZENONIA.
While ZENONIA was in its way, humorous, HYBRID: Eternal Whisper is "intense" and "serious"

I would like to tell you more on the story, but I'm not exactly where to start.
It's one of those games, where you have to play through the entire game to understand the full story (I don't want to be the spoiler).
However, I can tell you that the story is somewhat sad, and there were certain users who literaly cried after clearing the game. (these were extreme cases though)

What I'm saying is that it has well structured, serious tone of story.

More info on th game will be posted in upcoming weeks.

    Thanks

So it's a bit like Assassins Creed's story? Or bioshock? Interesting =O

    People cried? Damn.

Will there be beta testing? If so, when will you be able to start applying?

    Summer job soon

Would be awsome for a challenge mode against wifi and other players :D... Would be nice if that happened.

So is there skill books or something like that? RPG type game with a arcade mix into it? I usually enjoy rpg games but sometimes it gets boring trying to have the best items, with just a dull tap to hit, but with a arcade style mode, there's multiple buttons to hit with, movement, etc.. So i'm really looking forward to something like this.

The Gamevil team does all in-house testing now. I guess with the Zenonia testing process it was quite a fiasco and not very many people submitted feedback. It sucks, because if they used the same team, I could have tested this...

Aw bummer. All they asked of us was how we liked the controls, point out any bugs, and ignore the text translation and main gameplay (except difficulty feedback).

Who the hell couldn't bother to report back with that?

Dang, those beta testers will be so lucky if they could play before release.

After playing Zenonia, I feel Gamevil will deliver a quality game that is indeed epic. Hybrid is on my wish-list.

There aren't any particular plans for beta testing yet. However it is definitly a possibility.
I'll keep you posted on this issue. Thanks.

Looks similar to Summon Night 1 and 2 (GBA)
RPG, with a 2D fighting game type battle system

    Like Tales as well obviously

I loved Summon Night, hope there is some sort of freedom of movement and exploration!

    Doing nothing of importance.
    Somewhere
Sounds awesome! I think it's going to be an instant purchase for me now. The combat system is sick and I love a good storyline.

NgMoco?? Why not them? And Pangea's made a couple great platform adventure games.

But aside from that, I totally agree. I'm hoping a similar game to Tales of Symphonia comes out, with a mix between an RPG with brilliant real time fighting with four charaters out at a time, like Tales of Symphonia.

Oh God! That's one of my favorite GBA games ever. Summon Knight was so fun. I loved the fighting system.
If this is any thing like that, then I'm down.
