The last medal is the platinum medal. I have those from the training missions, but none more. I'm sure they don't depend on time, because on mission 1 I achieved the time medal on the 2nd run, and the rest in the 1st run. I don't know exactly how to get them though.
Well, it HAS the same alien atmosphere, you encounter lots of things but won't understand the most at first, cause everything is unlike our nature or technologies. There was lots of exploration in "The Dig", and it is here, too. Even in the tiniest corners might be something exciting hidden.
thanks for the info... time to go to work. Hope I can get a couple co-workers to pick this up. =oP Pretty sure they'll snag it once they see the lighting effects.
Nah, don't get me wrong, I was also kidding a bit. Btw., this game has tons of contend. Finished it? Try next difficulty level with other randomly level contend. This is a game even I would play again. You're playing on hard, void?
I'm enjoying it A LOT. Hopefully the devs will add mid-mission save feature in future updates. Or even an "instant save" point which allows to resume from where you left the game due to a phone call, whatsapp, etc. I would be happy with that, albeit multitask would be great too.
Mission 13 (and a new found artifact! yeah!). This game is certainly no cakewalk but it continues to surprise me introducing new elements and it really glued me to the screen with the story. Great great product, really...congrats to the devs.
Whoa this game is blowing up here... As a graphics whore who unfortunately has only an iPhone 4, I was wondering: how does the game run on it? Retina enabled? I hear you can also enable bloom and lens flares, does this work well on the iPhone 4 or is it disabled/does it cause much slowdown? How's the framerate in general on the iPhone 4?
The framerate's perfect on an iPhone 4. No hitches whatsoever. Of course that is if you have bloom and lens flare off. There's a noticeable dip when they're on...but believe me when I say the game is gorgeous without 'em and it doesn't take anything away from the experience. Oh, and yeah...retina, of course. It's still too early for me to say, but yeah... so far, not a single word in this topic is a lie. The game is abso-mother****ing-lutely worth every dollar it's selling for, and then some. Best $5 I've spent in a long time? Quite possibly.
I look forward to picking this up next Friday. Although if there's a sale by then I'll probably pass. By the way, how big is the file installed?
This thread has me convinced. But I won't buy it until it has iPad retina support. This game deserves maximum immersion and quality. The iPhone screen simply has become too small for me.
Hi there Thank you for all of the positive feedback...its amazing to see that people love our game. We are now preparing the update for Gene Effect and I have to thank all of you again for the suggestions you made. Update will include: - iPad support - pause game for unintersting things like incoming phonecall or sms ^^ - screen orientation will also be implemented ... There will be a bugfix/feature list until it comes out. We will post it on our Facebook site and homepage. So stay tuned and enjoy the game Marco Lightstorm3D
Been trying to resist getting this...but damn, reading these comments is making it harder and harder. I still haven't even gotten Waking Mars. Since there have been a few comments mentioning that game here, which do guys think is better? Sounds like this may have more replayability.
Welcome Keeper! Great to have you on board. Here's a silly one for you: Is there any way you could get rid of the "Exit" button on the main menu? It's a given that it's there because of the Android version, but there have been so many times over the last few hours that I've pressed it thinking it was a "Back" button only to have the game exit to the springboard. I don't know how hard it'll be to change because it essentially ruins the entire design of the main menu, but it was worth a shot asking.
