Universal geoDefense Swarm (by Critical Thought Games)

Yep bought just purely based on first one which I like and still like to this day.

on topic, I've just played for almost two hours nonstop, I can't remember the last time I played a game for this long

 

not really a big fan of tower defense sort of games but with all the attention it is getting i bought it am impressed

 

Bought!!! Finally, one wish from the original GeoDefense just came to life: ENDLESS MODE.

 

i hate the icon. I loved geodefense 1, including the icon, and i just downloaded this but haven't played it yet and i'm sure it will be good(deep breath), but it realllly needs a new icon.

 

Well, I beat the easy levels... A couple were tough, but second try I was able to win. Lot of similar strategy to the first. Tons of fun. Pretty sure I've put in 3 hours non-stop, haha. Here I come, medium levels!

 

Great addition to the Geodefense game, very hard though

 

Hey finally got the game, anybody go any tips/hints before I start, because I havn't played many tower defense games i only have field runners and the original geodefense.

Finally an open path tower defense game. I liked GeoDefense, but I don't really like fixed path TDs that much. Now that swarm is out, I'm happy. Fieldrunners to me was the best for so long, simply because you could experiment and make your own paths. I never understood how people could put GeoDefense, 7cities, Mar/Earth Defense, etc in the same league as Fieldrunners simply for that fact. I mean in path TDs half the work is done for you and you lose 50% of the strategy. Swarm has finally set an example for hopefully many of the TDs to follow. Quit thinking for us. Oh, and thank god for endless.

 

Fantastic sequel, easily the best use of 99 cents ever.

All right, I bit at 99 cents since the first one was so good. And I got my a** handed to me in level 2. Oh boy - I forgot how hard these games are. Back to the drawing board...

 

cant wait for the first screenshots of the winning style to show up... i guess now it wont be much like a specific recipe..

 

Whew. Easy levels weren't that bad, but I've had a couple shots at M1, and it is definitely tougher. I love it!

The purple stars on level 4 go crazy fast

 

Needs Fast Forward.

 

Don't forget the granddaddy of open path tower defense games still in the works. Looking forward to that one too.
