Gravity Chain is a still unknown favourite. Check out video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOZYVlyNTs0
1. Jump O'clock is a cool one-tap jumping game for good old Glu days. You can play with one hand. It has levels for people who like clearing levels, and an endless mode. High polish to the game. Highly recommended. 2. Motocross Madness. I am not sure how popular this game is or isn't, but it doesnt get talked about a lot here. Playing Bike baron a lot last 2-3 days, I also got back to motocross, which is another great bike game. Large number of very difficult levels come with the base game, and there's more where those levels came from. Wish this game had an editor though.
another new one that no one really talks about is Nyx Quest. I play it on the iPad and is an awesome experience. One of the most zen platformers ever.
Is it good?!? Cuz im a sucker for 8-bit retro games. but something about it.. idk.. Anyone heres a retro 8-bit 1: Zombies Hate Pumpkins DX Its new so not really Unknown but yea.
My marketing for Battle for Vesta has been terrible, leading to it being very unknown. That said, if you like being in the middle of a massive 3d space battle, you should check it out. I just updated it with a tilt control option, and it is retina enabled.
I recently released a free game called Superflick which is my own twist on the paper tossing genre. I also have a big update coming soon! Here's a pic of one of the current levels:
There's a lot of unknown picross like games which are really addictive. Lately I've been on Crosslogic, it's cool but only black and white. Griddlers Puzzles has colors puzzles but it's only available in Korean (the menus are a nightmare). And if you're not afraid of getting dizzy there's a 3D one called Pixross. Most of them are free. It's a shame puzzle apps don't get more spotlight. Ok they're slightly less awesome than big games but in the end when you just have a few minutes to play in the subway, and only have one hand free because you're gonna fall if you let go of that bar, they're all you need.
It looks like a good game, i will download it, But please dont self promote on here. 1.) it gives you a bad name, if your self promoting people will think its a crap game, or your trying to get money, (even though urs is free) 2.) this is for great unknown games that should be recognized, like i said before not promotion.
read thru the whole thread, took notes, found about 20 games to check out. anyways heres my input. mecapix Sw&Ear- prequel to knighturn Infinight Cavorite gravity hook creatures and castles starmine comet racer beyond ynth pathpix quell speedball 2 mr. ninja Dark lords stop the knights psychoban
Here's my personal list: Amazing Breaker League of Evil/Mos Speedrun (fairly well known on the site, but not on the app store) Boost 2 Radio Ball 3d Air Supply Hard Lines 8bit vs. 16bit Alien20 (uses camera to track your eyeballs and move your character---epic!) Woords Slam Dunk King (one of my favorite freemium-styled games) Stinger Foosball League Tactical Warrior Pickpawcket Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior Pigs in Trees Muffin Knight Pudding Panic (Really cool 3D halloween-style game) Choco Run Flip Riders Squirmee And that's my list, may put more on there later. Some of these are decently known, but most of them aren't too well known.
While I'm happy it was mentioned - I'm sad Pickpawcket is in the 'unknown games' category. Hopefully today's update will fix it!
