^Funniest quote I've read in a while. This game is most definitely worth the price of admission and can be thoroughly enjoyed without additional IAP purchases. You'll probably wind up happily buying the expansion and a voice pack or two anyway since once you play it you'll realize it's worth it.
I'm almost scared to ask... does this support retina? I mean, it does say HD, but I've been misled by that before...

Just to officially confirm it, yes it supports retina. In fact it's universal down to and including 3GS. Version 1.4 will be forthcoming soon which also adds better lighting, another larger campaign pack by popular demand, achievements integrated with gamecenter, a few more massive skirmish maps and the usual variety of smaller tweaks, enhancements and minor bug fixes, etc. We're all still working on this game full time and plan to be for quite a while.
Really enjoying this game. I would recommend a better help/tutorial/FAQ file. I'm still confused about the terrain and the advantages/disadvantages of each type and Im 3 missions in and it feels like a lot of trial and error versus understanding the basics and developing a strategy.
This has been mentioned before and we're going to fix that with both an in-game mini manual and something on our website. The reason we've not done it yet is purely that there's always been something more important on the list and we like to push regular updates. It'll be there soon, though. In the meantime, we maintain a facebook page were we can answer basic questions without bogging down the forum. Feel free to pop over and we'll do our best.

Great, great game. I had been eyeing the thread but it wasnt until the lite version was mentioned that I really got on board. Downloaded the lite version, played the crap out of it and now the devs. are .99 richer! Truthfully i had dismissed this as a cartoony, casual game-'i dont need that if I have starfront' I said to myself...ha! Plays like a strategy game but possesses the addictive quality and approachability of an Angry Birds, Nice job!! ***add***So, it's 1:33 am and I'm still playing...just trying to get gold! The sign of a good game imho!
