HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-*Coughs and dies* So I assume that the Levitra-ignite-your-life sellers don't have a legitimate reason to email people?
I love that this thread is up and the dev is trying to do something. Every time that I see someone say "just wait for apple, don't complain or make a scene, this is the way things go, you have to accept it" it makes me want to scream. If no one complains, Apple will have no reason to fix their broken system.
Good that you patched things up with tim, he was pretty patient with you. Look at what you wrote again. You were asking ppl to send them bomb mails. If that is not spam, what is.
Where's the front page story? "Fed up dev encourages toucharcade community to flood Apple's review team mailbox in hopes that he will make a difference"
What if you had made a app that took about 7 months to make and it was going to by your job to make apps, then unfortunatly the app store says "REJECTED", then what are you going to do? It's like saying that you went through college for 4 years to become a doctor, then because of a depression, the hospital you wanted to work on in the middle of no where suddenly closes and now you have to make money to own a new job (probably a small store) if no one is hiring and you have no money because you do not have a job, then after that some douchebag just says HA... U haz n0 j0b 4nd 1 d0!!11!1 End of story
I'm sure there is more to it than what people are being told. Your comparison has nothing to do with the Dev's situation...That's called life.
Everyone shutup. This dev is trying to get his update out there. I personally enjoy the hell out of Quantum Collapse and am hoping to see this update out there sometime soon. He's fighting to get his update out there. Apple is in the wrong here so lay off. Spamming Apple in hopes of getting the game through, who cares? Quit complaining. If you want the game to be updated, do it. If you don't, then why even post in this thread? To cause arguements or go after the dev? I think that makes you........a flamer? yes
Making apps is not my thing. Truth be told that even if I did make an "app" I wouldn't have a garbage attitude towards anyone who is simply telling the truth and/or things aren't going the way I expected them to. I also have enough common sense to know not do something as childish as spam apple with crap e-mails from the community to push an update when I get frustrated. I can handle my own business in a more respectable way like finding a better solution to the problem at hand. Now go along and troll back under your bridge. I'm sure there are billy goats waiting to cross...
Lol spamming isn't a good thing of course, but we should just send a complaint to Apple that their approval system isn't working really great, and of course you need to maintain your attitude. The problem is is that a lot of people have e-mailed apple about their approval system and they arn't doing anything about it. This isn't just your application, it's everyone elses too. So what is your solution to finding the problem in a respectful way?
Well for what it's worth i think we DID make a difference. I just got an e-mail from apple, at least this time they took 30 seconds of their time to at least see what app we were talking about They are saying the 1.2 version is in review (DUH it's been there for 2 months!), I'm hoping this means they actually did something to make the reviewers notice it here's the e-mail Thank you for contacting iPhone Developer Program. Message Subject: Quantum Collapse (RTS) 1.2 319440812 Follow-Up: XXXXXXXX We've received your application inquiry. Each app submitted to Apple has different capabilities, features, and complexity, which means that individual review times vary. Once the application review process has been completed, you will receive an email notification. Note: If you self-reject a binary and upload a new one, the application review process is reset and starts from the beginning. Therefore, we strongly recommend that any quality assurance testing is performed prior to submitting the app. While we cannot respond to every app submission inquiry, if we encounter any issues or need additional information you will be contacted. If you wish to check the status of your application, you can do so by visiting iTunes Connect <https://itunesconnect.apple.com>. Best Regards,
Well thats good news ! Though i'm wondering... Did you ever put chatting for multliplayer? It kinda gets boring to tell who you're against and how good he is if you both don't have a mic...
Well this update uses client-client multiplayer. You don't go through a server to find opponents, you either play with a friend via bluetooth or you play over wifi/3G by connecting to your friends IP address directly.
I sent them a message about this update, got the same message.......I think it's just a bot. Sorry Apple really pisses me off
Do tell lol. Dave (sorry if I'm wrong there) hasn't really given us any new information on Hamster Vice. Think you could help us out there? And about the QC update, maybe self-rejecting the update and then submitting the new version again, try that maybe? It'd have to go through the whole process again but it's better than not coming out at all
Don't worry Javier, I believe you have an Army of Jackels on your side here on TA. Hopfully our emails push them a little to get this sh!t done. It's been too long. Can't wait for the update buddy! QC FTW!!!
Any help with the second engineer mission guys? Tried it like 10 times and no success. quantumcollapse.com doesn't seem to give hints either.
