I saw that as obvious specialisation path. E.g. the Deathknight has both Dodge and Ultimate Dodge passive skills. When you increase both, it should add up quite nicely.

@Winterbleu: What is the current maximum level? I'd like to know how many skillpoints I get to play around with.

    Current max. level is 99 and you can use 90 skill points at max - passive skills 9 * 9 + active skills 3 *3 = 81 + 9 = 90 -.

Thanks for the fast reply, WinterBleu! Nice, 90 should be more than enough for anything. Now to figure out good skill upgrade paths for each hero... ;)

    Thanks a lot!
    I've double checked all.
    1) 2) -> Thanks, I'll add/fix it all in next release (ver. 1.1.0 , not ver.1.0.2 )
    3) -> It maybe game engine's limitation. I'll check it out.
    4) -> it seems a bit low priority i think. I should come up with UI concept first.
    5) -> it seems also a bit low priority. I think I can working it out after content's update done. (ver. 1.1.0).

Speed option is coming with content update (ver. 1.1.0). I'll show you a dev. progress soon. :)

Hi null zone I don't know exactly how long but it didn't take a long time to reach that with cleric maxed out with healing but the battles def got hard. I'm starting a new team I've added the dark night Spartan and the blue Mage/dark Mage. Once we get access to controlling the other skills and the battles slowed down a bit this game has a lot of potential. But as is I've had a lot of fun playing it

So active skills are activated by tapping the character portrait, i get that. Do auto skills just kick in automatically whenever they feel like it. For example lael's second skill unlocked (blessing). Does it just randomly protect the weakest hero whenever it feels like it. Do i have no control when it's activated.

Current version, No, you can't. And next content update release(Let say 1.1.0) will be includes "selecting 1 main skill" among 3 active skills. it might be one other option if you like to control other skill but still 1 skill can be controlled at battle time.

I actually like it that I don't need to worry about micro-managing a dozen or so active skills like in Battleheart. Makes for much more relaxed gameplay this way ;)
Please don't change this. Or at least make a more active approach optional, so folks who want it can toggle it on.

And I just completed the game. Overall, despite some difficulty spikes - particularly with the early/mid-game bosses - it was not too difficult. Lots of fun nonetheless ;)
My party was: Paladin, Cleric, Deathknight, Evil Sorcerer.

Will do another playthrough for fun, see how well I fare with an all-Mage party. Not too well, I'd think, as the Cleric is pretty much a neccessity. We'll see, maybe outfitting them all with +Lifesteal items can do the trick.

Don't worry about it. :) It doesn't change anything about game play and you even can't be noticed if you have no interested in it. It is just about providing option to select option for main active skill among 3 active skills who want it.

Some feedback after ~45 minutes in with my all-Mage party.
Party is: Anoop (Dark), Fila (Fire), Lian (Ice), Xerom (Nerd ;)) .

    Positive:
These guys are absolute powerhouses, dealing damage like it's going out of style.
    Definitely fun.

    Negative:
    - Squishy as hell. Ok, they are all Mages, so that's expected.
    - No Healing without the Cleric.
    - Xeromn's Hypnotise spell seems to have a rather long windup. So most of the time I waste it, because it does not retarget when the original target dies.

I just run into my first major wall with Stage 10's Boss. At lvl 12 average he's unbeatable with that party, they die too fast.
I think I also made a mistake with trying to focus on the active skills that early on. Should have put the skillpoints into attackspeed/damage instead, it seems.

And some general things I noticed with this playthrough:

    - The Cleric is a must. Without healing, you are screwed in the mid/long run. That makes for one mandatory party slot. Leaving only 3 of the 4 for playing around.
    My idea to remedy it:
Make all of Anoop's attacks/skills have the "Lifesteal transfers HP to lowest-HP partymember" property his "Summon Wraiths" attack has. Make his Reaper weaker, and remove the "50% chance to fail" in turn. It's the only skill with a percent chance, and feels quite out of place.
This could make him a viable alternative Healer. Weaker than Cleric of course, but then he can do more damage too.

    - Respeccing / resetting skills is prohibitively expensive. 403 Gold for Anoop at Lvl.11, and that's just for one Hero.
If you want to encourage people to experiment, I recommend to completely remove respec costs. Not to mention that it would be much easier to correct a mistake in skill distribution this way.

    - Trinkets are vastly overpriced compared to weapons/armor:
Example from the first store "Village Shop":
The best weapon/armour you can buy there cost 60 Gold each.
The cheapest trinkets go for 70 Gold, and are basically useless with +30HP, +3Att, +2Def. Useable ones like the Ninja Manual (+5% Att.Speed) cost 100+ Gold, and will be obsolete really fast. Take into account that you need 2 trinkets for each Hero to make them useful, we are looking at 800-1000 Gold easily, just for the first basic tier.
The complete set of 4x weapon/armor in the Village Shop goes for 480 Gold.
My current total, after buying the above armor set, is 403 Gold.

    - Hero movement sometimes doesn't work. It seems the taps-to-move sometimes just don't register. Need to check a bit more before I can say anything useful here.

So I started another Mage playthrough, where I replaced Xaromn with the Cleric.
Going a lot a smoother, my Heroes almost never die.
Stage 10 Boss was still a major challenge. I needed to level my group up to lvl 15 (gives the third active skill, and a 2nd point in the second) to deal damage to kill him before he overwhelmed me.
Shows that in some situations you need a tank to make things easier.

On the plus side, I had enough Gold to immediately upgrade all weapons & armours, and even buy a new expensive trinket.

Nullzone / It's great. I like your comment from play throught. I'll consider about what you mentioned there. Especially, skill resetting price is good point.
