$20 The devs need to make more profit or else they'll lose interest in the app store.

But if they sold the game at a lower price, like say $5, more people would buy it, and they'd still make more profit!

if i remember correctly.... Apple will be introducing a new 'premium titles' category with the launch of OS 3.0.

What i precieved from that was... current games priced at $9.99 are not considered premium... and i think Sims 3 will be one of the first premium titles on the App Store, probably titled above the $9.99 price point.

As far as I'm concerned though.... $9.99 for Sims 3 is the maximum feasible price for me.

I would say I'd expect $5.99-$9.99 but I'd like it more if it was $2.99 and more for the in-game purchases, which I probably wouldn't get any of in that case. :) Unless of course the purchase is awesome, but I don't see myself spending $.99 for a new in-game couch, or room theme, when I could get a game as good as SlotZ (already have) or Bloons, or other good $.99 games. Does a couch give you a few hours of gameplay? I don't think so. (Unless it has special properties like making you be able to control it and drive around, but I doubt it.)

id pay 20 for it i have no problem paying for quality games. some of the games that people beg to get for 2 bucks amazes me because games like sims 3 would be like tha same thing on a PSP or DS and go for like 40-50 bucks new. yeah i know theres no physical media involved but still PSN umd titles can still go for 35 bucks or so. Zenonia is better than half the DS rpgs out there that get 40 or some bucks for *rant rant blah blah i need to shut up*

Wow it looks like Simland is very foggy in that video!! I hope they release it at $20 and don't drop the price until at least a year later. One of these developpers has got to grow a pair and release their games at a price they think it's worth. If anybody can do that it's the Sims guys.

depending on the reviews, my limit would be $20. i also don't mind paying for a good quality game and if this game gets me playing every single day, then i'd say it's well worth the price.
