Hi all, I wanted to broach the issue of the international markets for iPhone games. We have experienced a degree of success with the UK, US and (for some reason) France App Stores and would like to extend our reach into other regions. Our sales in countries outside of these areas have been less than impressive, and I wondered what approaches other developers have used to increase their visibility in foreign language regions. While I have never taken these steps I would assume translating the app to foreign languages would be the single biggest help in increasing foreign sales. That being said I think there is a trade-off between the smaller number of sales to be made outside of the US/UK and the amount of effort put into targeting each language. You have to find the right balance. Just my 2 cents
