It's actually a better idea to read the novella, as the 1st game has maybe 5 lines pertaining to actual story, and isn't connected to 2 in any way besides the God King and Siris.

 

controls are very buggy

I don't know what happened but my controls are extremely buggy now.

I can definitely see the problem when drawing magic on screen. The pattern drawn does not reflect the movement of my fingers. It looks jittery and totally not what I am drawing.

For example the healing "U" will be all over the place like I'm rubbing the screen.

I can see the problem persist when slashing, parrying etc. I will swipe across the arrow for a slash and will get a weak slash. Or I will parry in the right direction and the sharacter will be doing some totally differrent move.

This happens on and off but more recently, more "on" than off. Happens both on Iphone 4s and Ipad2. I close down the game and relaunch it but rarely does this help. Sometimes it will go away but most of the time it is frustrating.

Anyone else having this? Any tips?

 

I've got a 2 hour or so car journey this afternoon.

For £2.00 at this price is it worth playing for a laugh, even if I don't go go all hardcore on it?

I found infinity blade one dissapointing as a glorified tech demo but the mechanics were interesting. The lack of dialogue, no local language option, and the fact you could get through it in 10 minutes made me delete the thing.

Now this one has had some updates and a price drop I'm tempted though.

But will it cover up 2 hours

Buy a solar sword. Then at rebirth a spaceship will come.

Buy one of the solar (light saber) weapons and kill the MX Goliath (the mechanic beast). At the next rebirth you will see a ship flying towards the castle. go to where you fought the Mx Goliath. (You must have one of the solar weapons equipped in order to fight him)

*tips*
1. Ryth is always vulnerable to one random element
2. You better be good at parrying or have high points for shield
3. It's easier to use the sword and shield class if you have a rainbow gem, high shield and shield magic
4. Don't fret if you die more than twice, welcome to the club

I hope Chair aren't screwing us with this new GC achievement. The Nega godking is nowhere to be found. Still searching though.

 

im having issues with icloud and the saves. i got a level 17 guy on my ipad 3 but cannot get it to transfer to my iphone 4s. any help?

 

I can't get this game to load without logging out of GC. What's going on here?

WE DID IT!!!!
Over at the epic forums we just figured out how to get to the negative rebirths.
what you do is you go to through the tutorial till you get to the Genno (fat guy before Saydhi) fight normally and then when the game asks you to swipe for a combo DO NOT!!! instead swipe in one direction vertically for a while then dodge till you die of exhaustion. choose ???????? instead of load last save and voila!! you're in the negative rebirth.

Mind you, Mustard tagged this as an #uberskillquest and it truly is. worth a shot so everyone should try it.

What are the benefits/opportunities offered by negative rebirths?

Also, the Infinity Blade Wikia page on negative bloodlines/rebirths offers a completely different take on accessing negative rebirths. Pure flight of fancy?

 

does anyone else have an iPad 3 with an invisible shield here? I do, and I'm having trouble with the game not registering my swipes. It worked flawlessly before the shield, but after installing the shield (and a few updates) it won't work consistently. The weird thing is that it works pretty well in other games that require swipes (ex. horn).

 

It is a good challenge, as you get kicked out into normal rebirths if you fail to complete any xp-bonus (called requirements in negative rebirths).

 

How do you find the Nega-God King?
