I can certainly understand why people would want it (and it would be good to add it as an option), but personally, I'm comfortable with using the analog stick for aiming. It took some getting used to though.
Just like you... I got used to it. But i'd still prefer it oldskool, with the button acting as the aim as well.
Yeah, I agree, it just takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think the decision was a good one by the dev because when you snap into the aiming, all it takes is a good flick on the left side to do head shots. I mean I'm popping off head shots like it's my job. I can't say that for other iOS games. Just my 2 cents!
This aiming using analog stick is just like monster hunter aiming type.. I'm used to this since I always use heavy and light bowgun in monster hunter..
MH had analog stick and keypads. In Invader Hunter, sometimes tapping up messes up aiming by turning either left or right and not directly up. This is the difference between physical controls and touch controls. With the shoot button also working as aim, the player will have more control over his shots.
Maybe the dev can add this control scheme and we are able to switch it in the options menu? So everybody can chose his prefered controls.
Some question about rates Spoiler Is there only 7 rates? The last 2 missions at rate 7 is extremely difficult... Anyone beat it yet?
Im still at Rate6 so cant answer that yet. But if it is, im sure it was already money well spent on this really fantastic game. And since the game is Mission based, im pretty sure the Pindilab will be updating with new quests and perhaps new Invaders to hunt.
Yup, I'm glad I bought this game right after it's released! Of course it lacks the polish MH has, but the gameplay is so interesting, it keeps me coming back for more, even when I have the strongest gears This game is my number 1 favorite right now Currently trying to collect all gears and attempting to beat the last 2 missions XP
Yup. That's what i said. Unfortunately, gameplay like this has always been a hit or miss to gamers. Either they love it, or they loathe it. In my case, I have loved ALL games like this. MH, God Eater, Phantasy Starortable and Shadow of the Colossus have each become my favorite games at some point (and MH and SotC still are ) and now Invader Hunter is a current favorite.
Actually, I didn't get Fancy Pants Just not my type of game.. So it's just between this and waking mars.. it's hard to decide, but Invader Hunter get my vote as the GOTW..
Tried 6 times to beat the rate 7 missions but still failed.. ("﹁_﹁) The time limit is the tall wall I can't overcome Btw, zeus gamma kernel is sooo raree.. After killing 10 zeus still didn't find it
