Ha, it's quite funny. Paying $100 for games on the iOS seems like a ton, but that really only nets you 2 games on a 360 or PS3. Obviously the experience is better, but the 11 games the OP listed aren't too shabby either.
Nope, it's actually going to cost $0 because I won't be getting even one of those games. Also, very misleading title imo.
What is funny is I noticed less and less ds shovel ware and crazy horses or barbie games ever since iOS gaming started taking over the portable scene. Now developers for psp and ds really need to work or make something good for people's $30.
That's the thing..since games are now where we want it for idevice, people should stop complaining that games cost over 0.99. That's really a hard concept to grasp..I mean really..
Well on the iPhone no matter how good the game is the game experience will always be a lot worse than the ds, psp, or iPhone due to things such as your fingers hitting the pause button or covering the speakers or screen. So nobody that has options will pay much for them. The iPad is the real idevice system with actual potential to have real games and take over the entire portable scene.
Agreed. Right now the only thing holding me back from buying the more expensive game is time. I don't have the time to complete so many games anymore
Before people start getting fiesty!,,,,, Maybe I'm being misunderstood by some here. I know it's not that much, for PS3 gaming. I just dropped $120 on Black Ops and GT5 without thinking twice about it, but for iOS? I've never in the past 1 1/2 years, wanted so many games in 1 month. I'm pretty picky with my selections and rarely get too many $0.99 mini-games. My spending App-store spending, at most, is usually $20-$30. And that's on a really good "iOS" gaming month. This december, it's going to rain quality titles from most of the developers that count (on my list anyways). So, I should have made the OP "Orgy of games for December!" =P
I created this thread, and there were a few comments that emphasized the iphone gaming community as being cheap about spending money on games. I was just trying to explain to those few.
I actually feel like a complete idiot for just noticing You're not alone. That was a good head scratcher for me, too.
Your prices are totally jacked up. Infinity Blade will be $5.99 Dead Space will be $6.99 Battlefield BC2 will be $6.99 Dead Rising will be $6.99 Shadow Guardian will be $6.99 Eternal Legacy will be $6.99 NOVA 2 will be $6.99 Dundeon Hunter 2 will be $6.99 and Real Racing will probably have like a $4.99 launch sale. Now don't those prices sound more Realistic.
I didn't get the explanation, and I was one of those people. Wait, what was the misleading part? niceeeee! Where's Aralon though?
an 5$ RR2 launchsale would be absolute fantastic but rather unlikely, or what? Had RR1 an launchsale?
Nope AppShopper says it launched at $9.99 and dropped to $6.99 3 months later, and then two months after that to $4.99.
If im going to spend a hundred dollars for all those i would be getting instead a full console or PC game (or maybe more). I find those kind on games useless on my iPhone, they are more suited and best played on a platform with buttons and a big screen. No offense intended, just my thoughts.... From that list i will only get Infinity Blade, it has unique controls that fits right at home, its jaw-dropping and if Epic is behind it, im pretty sure it will be completely awesome. For playing on my iPhone i like more the casual games like and im waiting for these: (maybe a couple are not so casual) Super FeedMe Escape of the Minimos Kung Fu Santa SUPERBROTHERS: SWORD & SWORCERY EP Sheeple Chase Kosmo Spin No offense intended here (again) but for me Gamelofts game are complete rip-offs, but not in a good way like Trucks and Skulls, but in an exagerated and bad way. They always end up like poor copies of the originals, with no innovation AT ALL.
