I know an ipad sleeve and tripod doesn't seem like the popular choice for many, but it works great for me. Use the tripod anytime I am at a table. When I am sitting on a sofa, I rest my ipad sleeve on my lap and play it. If I am sleeping and watching tv, I put my ipad sleeve on my chest and place my ipad on top of it. This works really well with me, and heck, if one gets even more adventurous, throw in a joystick and hdmi tv it.
I'm really torn between the iPad Air and iPad Mini Retina. The specs look to be the same so it comes down to bigger screen versus better ergonomics.
I'd go for the ipad, the mini is cool but I just prefer the bigger screen for browsing and games. Just awaiting the uk price although It might be out of my range.. We'll see.
Bigger is not greedy, what a stupid statement. I'm 51 and have poor eyesight, the ipad makes a perfect gaming and browsing machine for my old eyes, whereas a mini might not be.
Makes a massive difference, lots of people use ipads for books or magazines, for me the ipad is great for Gridlee (MAME) to run on my iCade. Dont get me wrong i love the size of the ipad mini but i could say whats wrong with the ipod touch ? 'Wanting bigger is greedy and wont make a difference' ! If it wouldnt make a difference Apple would get rid of the ipad and just make the ipad mini the standard wouldnt they ? All devices have their strengths/weaknesses
