I'm still on my first gen (well, after a number of replacements) and haven't bought any new games in quite some time. I'm probably at $250, but virtually all of that came within the first year of the app store. Once the 3gs came out, I don't think I've purchased a single game outside of a few Thanksgiving specials. Nothing against the device, I've just lost interest in it as a gaming console.

Actually, I've completely transitioned my iphone from a gaming device to an e-reader. Thanks to some hack sites and the many thousands of books that are free legit, I put in roughly 2 hours of reading a day, not to mention time I put reading online (no idea how much that is, maybe another 90 minute).

I've spent around 50$ total. I find it pretty sad that some people buy a crap load of apps and never get around finishing them. I guess appholicism is a real problem for some.

I mean.. 2000$ on a friggin phone/portable entertainment device? Get real and get a life is my advice. :)

    Cheers!

You know that feeling you get when you think about doing something you realy shouldn't do. Like "i could throw this £20 note out of the car window if i wanted". I got that feeling when I looked at Ira pro. I had to get of the page quickly. That purchase would have realy ****ed up my life lol.

How many Games and Apps have you bought?

How many Games and Apps does everyone have?

Just worked mine out, i've spent £273.24 ($408.43) on iPhone + iPod Touch apps in 14 months :/ I have 266 apps in total.

To work out the price, go into your account, and purcahse history, go through and add up all you've bought. May take a while if you have alot like me.

Please say i'm not the worst here, I want to show my fiancee I'm not that bad :p

    Spent too much

definitely over 4 grand here, I have almost a thousand apps, most paid, and I use probably 95 percent on a regular basis, the $ comes from being an "entertainment provider"
