Nice update. Infact it's the most updaty update I have seen in an iOS game. Not sure about my new found ability to punch doors into a hundred pieces though. Saying that it is nice to feel like superman every so often.

I have all the statue pieces, and I've dug out almost all of the underground. Where will the new statue appear? Sill it generate a new dark spot? Or can it appear in a space that's already been dug up and lit up with a torch?
Does anybody know where the christmas boxes are? I created like 10 new worlds and could not find at least one. I need help
You need to create a new world and find it there - it won't add to an existing world since that was already generated.
I'm about to go demand a refund. A whole night of exploring and crafting gone after the game crashed. All that remained was an excavated landscape and whatever extra stuff I threw in a chest I crafted. This isn't right. How can you guys accept this so willingly? This is the second time it's happened to me. Yes I updated. Yes I rebooted and yes I save often(assuming you save by hitting the camera). I got nothing but bad words built up for the DEV right now so I'll end here.
You don't save by hitting the camera. You save when you hit the pause button. Then you can choose to back up or not. If you have lost any items you can go to the options menu and then hit "restore items" and bam all your items are back. If you lost your world you can hit the world icon next to the effected world on the world choice screen. I know my words pushed you over the edge to get the game but it really and truly IS a seamless and effortless back up system. You can't blame the devs if you are doing the wrong thing to back up.
MOTHER-EFF!!!!! I've been not saving this whole time!!!! Then the game is actually a bit more deserving of praise. After 3 crashes prior, I didn't lose anything. The crashing is a problem tho. Seems like if u move too fast for the game your bound to encounter problems. For those who don't know: double tap pause to save. The worst part is I thought my game was bugged cause I would hammer away at the pause button and get nothing. Now after losing a weeks worth of work I double tap pause and get "saving...". I am to blame for the improper backup. But why has the app been crashing on me so often? Before and after the update on an iPhone 4. Even tried on a touch 4g and my old 3GS and it's always randomly sending me to the home screen. Please fix devs. I know you're taking a break so I'll do my part to save properly. But when you get back to work, please investigate.
Hi nesio718, the fun part is that the game never crashes when we play it, or with our beta testers. So that kind of crashes is quite hard to find..but we investigate almost every day to find the causes, and be sure that Jack is slowly making the game totally crash free. Unfortunately this is a new engine made from scratch, and making it perfect can be very time consuming. The backup function will help you in the meantime we fix the remaining unknown crashes If you have any other problems drop us a mail, we'll do our best to take care of your problems. New England Gamer, you deserve a lot of statue heads, unfortunately the drops are random The best way to find a head is to start a new world and explore it.
