This (and the iPhone version) are back from the dead and available in the app store again. Now I just wait for it to go on sale.
Does that mean that they finally updated it so it doesn't disconnect in a two player game and just generally crash? I hope so; it's got so much potential to be great.
Does anyone play this on a ipad2, if so is it stable and playable. Reviews make it seem like it crashes all the time.
You're welcome. I wish to hell it worked. The level design and clever 2-player puzzles would make this a classic if it were stable.
I have been dying to get this for months. App store reviews constantly describe crashing which is why I haven't. Why won't they fix???
Price dropped to $4.99 Also saw they updated the game recently. Anyone experiencing better stability with this version? I have it on the Xbox 360, but wouldnt mind taking it portably if they fixed the crashes
Yes, I'd also like to know if it's working well now. I'd very much like to buy it, but not if it's still a buggy mess. I loved the XBLA version.
I am playing it again and it hasn't yet crashed after the update. The real test will be multiplayer, which I will take for a spin tonight with my son.
So 2 say it's working and 1 says it's crashing. Not sure what to do. I guess I'll wait for more impressions.
I was intrigued when I saw the recent update, but the reviews put me off at the $9.99 price. I just bought it on sale at $4.99. For those on the fence, I'll try to post my (quick) impressions later tonight EST. I have both iPad1/2.
I guess I spoke too soon as people's mileage seems to be varying... I'll put it through its paces this weekend and post my impressions as well.
Got back to it after dinner and it let me continue right where it crashed, and then proceeded to run very smoothly, no further crashes so far
Sounds like it's finally worth picking up. I still can't believe how long it took them to update a "Lara Croft" tagged game; you'd think they wouldn't want to tarnish the brand? Hoping for the best...
