Honestly, me too. I wasn't actually planning on buying this in the first place, but reading through this thread got me pretty excited about it. After the front page impressions, I'm not sure if I care anymore. Too much stuff to play anyway.
This game was in the Upcoming Games a few days ago with the same preview video you see in the first post...
They didn't mention in the impressions though if it looks better graphics wise and such in the iPad version. Does anyone know?
Just the impression that it doesn't work... I launched it, selected a level, and it crashed... I launched it again, it crashed... I turned off my iPad, launched it again, it crashed... No apps running in the background running an un jailbroken 4.2 iPad...
I dont understand what on the first page would turn you off..care to elaborate? Just watched the slide to play video and it looks like a good game.
Front page impressions on Touch Arcade. Very lukewarm and discusses issue with control, frame rate, and audio.
So many nice new games on the forums I didn't even notice this had game center co-op. Does it really?
Well it's not a big deal but I much rather buy games that do support it. Especially for this kind of game I think retina graphics would make make a world of difference since everything looks relatively small.
When I first read about this game coming out tonight, I was genuinely excited as I thought about getting the XBLA version and would love to have it on the go instead. But that front page review was pretty harsh and really disappointing. Would love to hear some more impressions.
Just purchased this app at 11pm EST on the nose. It loads fine for me but immediately crashes upon loading the first level.
