Thats a very impressive filesize (oo-err !), well done for keeping the file size down, think nowadays too many people create some hefty filesizes. With so many great games around its difficult finding space to install sometimes!
@saiyukialex Hi! We are currently not planning to increase the price. This day 1 download is the complete game, we won't be updating the gameplay.
Just watched up to the point where Sanuku created a breeze and then screamed out "CAN'T WATCH ANYMORE!" and closed the video. I don't want ANYTHING spoiled for me. OMG, can't wait!!!!
this looks fantastic, but I don't know how I feel about the swipe controls... It looks beautiful... just... those controls... grrrah...
If it makes you feel better, this was a wiiware game. It never had "traditional" platformer controls. It always had a swiping motion, just with the wiimote. I'm hopeful that this will translate well.
Hehe... i understand that and i thought the same so i did just record more or less the Tutorial and nothing more yet. I will start recording the HD Video Walkthrough tomorrow so you Guys have enough time to play with Toku for at least a few more Hours before i spoil the hole fun. Don`t worry about it does actually work pretty good. I just didn`t took the Time to work into it.
from the screenshots and the video it looks like the game is not rendering at the native resolution of the device.. can you confirm this san?
Screens looks fine here. The videos are captured at a completely wrong aspect ratio making everything look really squished, if that's what you mean?
Hi, thanks for that comment - yes we genuinely think multi-touch displays suit the game design / control concept very well, and the control system we have means that you don't end up covering the screen with your thumbs
well thoose on the first page linkes definatly do not look proper.. and the stretched video (god only knows why san changed from proper 4:3 to squishy) still looks like its being rendered at a lower res than the screen.. of course this all can have different reason and the game itself might be fine.. so my question is headed to someone who has it running on an ipad2 (which san does).. if its an issue on the device or not..
Hi, we render at as high a resolution we can to get good framerate (& therefore gameplay) given the hardware; on iPhone4S that is full retina resolution, on iPhone4 and iPod touch 4Gen its just a little below that (but still much better than non-retina displays)
