I have $10. I'm looking for a deep RPG/adventure game and a few casual games. I was thinking of either Crimson Gem Saga or Phoenix Wright for the deep game. I have both Monkey Islands
You don't already have Phoenix Wright?! Get it NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! because you will get that Phoenix Wright reference above.
Okay so I bought PR, any ideas for casual games? What about Jet Car Stunts and Slice It!? Also thinking about Helsing's Fire and Corporate Fury.
So since The Sims 3 Ambitions has been out for a while now, should i get it? I've been looking at the other two sims before, but apparently this one has more content. What do you guys think?
Well I was playing for about 10 minutes and then it crashed, lol. No other games running in the background, just safari, mail, phone, calendar, stuff like that. At least it took me right back to where I was. I'm not usually too harsh on graphics, so with that said it looked fine to me, but there are definitely jagged edges and a little bit of blur. Nothing that would stop me from playing but I think the jagged edges would bug some people. The thing that does frustrate me are the controls. They are finicky and kind of unresponsive. You really have to have you thumbs right on the sticks to get them to work. Didn't see an option to adjust sensitivity, would like them a tad more responsive but the bigger issue for me was that the area was too small. Number of times I was fighting a scorpion, trying to move around and look and the character would just not move. Had to look down at the controls and really center my thumbs. Gonna give it some more time but initial impressions aren't that great.
Three questions: 1. What are good games that mix brilliant arcade/unique gameplay with RPG style customization (cosmetics or status enhancement)? i got Hook Champ, Super Quickhook, chronoSgear, Corporate Fury. 2. is Xenome good? are the quests variative (lol is this an english word i dont know)? is the battle system too point and click like the usual adventure RPG? 3. i already have Monkey island 2. should i buy the first one?
Hmm. Those seem like sound observations to me..I think I'll put off buying this one till some of those things are addressed. Rimelands dude. Rimelands.
