What do you guys think about Spellsword for somebody who isn't a huge fan of Super Crate Box?

 

As someone who's also not a huge fan of SCB (not that I think it's a bad game, I just find the gameplay kind of boring), I thought Spellsword was fun for a bit, but I got bored of it after like a day. I don't feel like I wasted my money, but if I went back in time to before I bought the game, I'd be pretty indifferent on whether or not to spend the $1 on it again.

I kind of feel like I should reinstall SCB at some point and give it another shot, though. It seems like a solid game and I can understand what others see in it. I guess it's just not my type of game.

 

Passed on SCB and wasn't a fan of the Muffin Knight game either. But Spellsword was one of the most addictive things I'd come across in a good, long while -- that is...until the update. Now it's unplayable. Completely.

 

kinda a little of topic but i was wondering if anyone had a gampad for ther iphone/ipod such as the gametel the icontrol pad or soon to be getting the icade mobile i was considering the three devices and figured this much, Icade is £50 and it appears its dimesionas are only fitting the ios devices currently out, i plan on upgrading and im worried that the new iphone may be larger and therefore not work with it. the i control pad is £55 in all but would be a ble to support a larger ios device, the gametel is the cheapest at £37 and should be able to support larger devices so which would you choose and why? be awesome if you could reply and im sorry if you consider this off topic but hey wy dont you tell me some good games that have icade support (all three devices have this) so i can see what good games are out

 

If you want shooters you could get ,NOVA 2 or 3,the Modern Combats,Rainbow Six, Deadlock:Online,Archtype or SAS zombie assault 3.For racing games you could get Death Rally or most I the big name racing games.Also Doodle Jump,Flight Control,Super Stickman Golf.If you like MMOs you could get Star Legends or Order and Chaos Online.For sports games you could get NBA Jam.For actions games you could get Stree Fighter Volt or Worms 2.Hope this helped

New update today makes it more playable than ever. Dramatic improvement to the controls, even better than the slightly inconsistent controls the game launched with.

I've been out of the scene since around... damn, must be October or something, so does anyone have any must-have recommendations from the end of 2011 and start of 2012 for me?

I quite like physics-based games and puzzlers, some strategy and possibly RPG but not the long and grindy JRPGs. Not really into 3D shooters, platformers or toned-down console-like games like the ones Gameloft put out.
