Really? Crescent Moon has been active on Touch Arcade this week promoting some forgettable crap [i.e. Monkey Boxing , just yesterday] but potential gold like Mighty Dungeon is unattended? Shameful... I jokingly say claim breach of contract on their end and release it immediately yourself. Mighty Dungeon looks unstoppable from the video and screenshots so hopefully it lands soon; very soon... as in right now... just... do... it... Edit: You will release Mighty Dungeons immediately... ...Mighty Duneons must launch today.
What is everyone so antsy about? Not 40 minutes ago 'Adventures of My Happy Dream Dragon Sky Patrol: Little Castle Kingdom Fairytale Story FREE' launched on the app store!!! Go sink your teeth into that bad boy! Besides having the longest name in the history of gaming, the gameplay actually looks pretty solid. Jousting with dragons sounds pretty cool. No, wait...you just 'direct dragon traffic' to the palace where the jousting tournament takes place...never mind. Seriously...Mighty Dungeons needs to launch, like now.
I'm guessing with the Android release coming first there's less chance of the art assets being designed for iPad retina? Gameplay looks awesome though, gonna have to watch this thread.
Hi Guys, I'm happy to see you are as excited as us for this game to see the light on iOS If you can't wait any longer just email me your name + UDID I'll add you to the test account [email protected] and send you the pre-release version (for free of course...)!
Damn I wake up and it's still not here. Edit: so does this mean its being held back until a Thursday? April 4th
I haven't stopped weeping since josh posted that..... Oh well... I certainly hope he meant next Thursday though...
I've never had a test build, so sorry if this is a dumb question. Is giving out your UDID safe? Worst case scenario, what can someone do with your UDID? Not that I don't trust this developer, I just tend to lean on the side of caution.
I think the UDID just uniquely identifies your iDevice. So if you told me your UDID is 12345, then I would be able to identify you as UDID 12345 whenever I have access to other developers' logs. I don't really see any big downside to you giving out your UDID, but Apple did design the UDID to be anonymous so developers and their advertiser paymasters can verify that you are a unique individual, but cannot identify that you are paradsecar. I would imagine the developer wants your UDID so that he can tie the test build that he is sending you to your device only. This would probably prevent the unauthorised spreading of the beta. Alternatively and more likely, he might need your UDID to make sense of your bug report. The beta app might phone home usage pattern and crashes for finetuning, but those would be tied to the UDID, so unless he can tie UDID 12345 to you, paradsecar, he probably will not know who to ask for further details to squash the bugs, which is the whole purpose behind beta testing. I am not the developer or a developer...
Cool, thanks for the reply! If you Google "give out UDID" you get all kinds of horror stories about developers getting access to your credit card information and the like. If that's not the case then it sounds like I'm safe, and that's a good thing because I'm super anxious to play this game.
