Is the HD version a "universal" for retina devices and iPad? Pretty keen on having this on both my iPod (4th G) and iPad, would be convenient if I only had to buy the one version - still, I can see myself grabbing both if this is not the case. Been looking forward to this for ages. Congrats on finally getting it completed and out! (well not quite, but it is as good as released if it has been accepted by Apple)
Been waiting since I first heard in April and this will be my most waited release for this week unless something big pops up
158mb for iPhone and 171mb for iPad (those are download sizes...installed they are around 350mb). iPad has a few enhanced textures since despite the resolution, you can see so much more on that gigantic screen! The HD version is currently iPad only. The iPhone and iPad versions are completely cross-platform compatible though so you can play over Bluetooth or Wifi against friends on different devices. Thanks again for all your support guys - not long now - we've packed a whole lot into this game so I'm sure you'll find it was worth the wait! As a side note, we've been busily working on the first update, which with a bit of luck, we can have out in time for the Christmas break. - Ingmar
The pictures in the first post are retina images, so unless something changed during development I should think so.
Hi Ingmar, great work on MMR! I have grabbed it on launch and don't regret it. The colours are sensational and just jump out at you! Someone else asked this and I've had a look a few pages back and couldn't see an answer. Is there any way to change your name from 'Player'? I can't seem to find that option. POSSIBLE SPOILER BELOW: My jaw dropped when I saw the DeLorean as an unlockable!
Completely Shocked I am dumbfounded by the quality oozing from every corner of this game. Simply one of the best racing experiences I've had since the release of real racing 1. ****This is basically a top-down MOTORSTORM so please add a Super Cup that includes long fantasy tracks through waterfalls, cliffs, jumps, multiple routes, lave, etc, etc...
