Timo must be the most charismatic dev here, one post and everyone seems to forget their frustrations lol! This guy started to sound poetic and is even happy to wait another two weeks on top of the month prior to that and for what seems like a minor update...still no new weapon, no new level...and after this update what have they got to look forward to? Hoooorayyyyy new skins!!!!!! Sunshine sunshine indeed!

Uhm read the OP. Beach music was talking about samurai, then Jchamp said while quoting the samurai part: If the game never gets updated yada yada yada. So I asked a legitimate question. Thought you'd be smart enough to figure that out. Sorry.
You see unlike most people once this thing didn't come out as soon as they said i just kept on living my life. still many other good games to play for the iphone. My excitement is not really over the news of the update it is more in response to the pointless chatter that tends to flood this thread lately. I was overjoyed that an actual dev showed up with something instead of rumors and speculation. We have waited a month already whats two more weeks. I think this is a substantial update. it would have been nice to receive this earlier but at this point any update is much welcomed.

Michelangelo, I'll be the first to admit the menus aren't pretty There is one major problem though... knowing how much this game is transforming it would be hard to do a nice menu that suits our needs in 4 months. Behind the hideous outfit the current menu system does have many virtues: + It takes minimal amount of resources and texture space (Full blown menu would increase the loading times and game size considerably) + The buttons are big and easy to press + It's very fast to navigate because nothing is animated + It uses a font which means we can localize it for several other languages if needed + Programmer can create new buttons very fast and without any help from an artist This storybook style menu that opens beautifully is what I personally want, but it's very slow to edit if we add something unexpected like completely new game modes (beyond co-op)... Imagine overweight Goremary Damacy mode where you squash furries under your fat and grow laaaarger : Some old designs from episode 1:

I love the story book menu. Looks awesome. You could always just add another icon in the middle bottom of the Single Player menu if you needed somewhere to choose game modes.

Wow this is soooooo awesome! This menu will make make my one level experience even more awesommmmmmmeeeeeeeee! A radar, an extra life and a new menu.... Omg omg i can't wait but i will glady and happily wait for this no matter how long
