Oh, I was always under the impression that non apple products like PC vs Macs were cheaper, thanks. So I've head, I think I'll check that one and the HTC. There are no android phones that approach the iPhone 5 in terms of GPU power. You want power, stick to iOS and lose your wallet.
Just out of interest, how does the iPad 4 compare with Xbox 360/ps3 in terms of GPU and stuff, surely it's close is it not?
Dunno. Can't seem to find any benchmarks that I can really compare, and even then it isn't as simple as comparing numbers. Only thing that is certain is that the iPad 3 had the same GPU as the ps vita, and the iPad 4 has a GPU twice as powerful as the iPad 3's. With the vita supposed to be close to a ps3 in terms of horsepower, I'd say that puts the iPad out ahead of if were not for the resolution. You'd really have to ask a developer to get a realistic answer.
You do need to understand this whole touch control interface. iPad isn't meant for only gaming. So obviously when it comes to gaming it will have lack of powers compare to other gaming device. If they just made iPad only to run games, they could probably make games look better than what they have right now
Thanks, I'm just wondering what a game would be like if a developer like gameloft made a game exclusive to the iPad 4, what could they do, without having to try and make as many devices compatible. And as for the gameplay videos, the team battle map doesn't look much better than mc3 graphics? Yet the battle video and campaign videos are quite a bit better :S
I really think that gameloft should nerf throwing knives, maybe they could lower the accuracy and only give you one knife. Yesterday I played MC3, and using the perk that gives you 6 knives instead of 4, went about 100-40.
You don't have to worry about that because it would never happen, Gameloft would be alienating a HUGE percent of their user base.
It'd be cool if it had its own crosshairs like CoD. Would possibly make it harder. Off-topic: Guys get Slender Rising from App Store! It's the best slender man game on The Store and it's got an awesome atmosphere, sounds and graphics! Really spooky, I highly recommend
The throwing knife is way too easy. It needs trajectory and stuff. It's like, you point, click the button and the guys dead. And you get 4. And it's BS when you 're on the receiving end.
Yeah they obviously wouldn't do it but just imagine if they did, do you think they could make a completely console like game, if not better?
They did something like that for the PS3, and it sucked terribly. Nobody is going to buy a COD knockoff when they can just buy the real thing.
I don't think he meant a console game. He said console-like. But yeah, it did suck. I played the demo recently.
And someone did leak that info and the ahievement/trophy list. I think they said they've being collaterals into the game, and voice chat.
