this one's still on my watch list, but i think the new textures look really bad. i liked the look from the original video where racing grounds were black. with the last screen posted above, you can clearly see where the floortexture.bmp ends and restarts. and then in the image above that, the diagonal supports have the same horizontal texture as the rest, and it reeks of lazy/sloppy work. seriously, it looked great, and non-distracting when it was just black. keep it simple.
this isnt done....knowing how this company designs their games i think they would find your post insulting....this is just an early preview...thats not the final artwork...i assure you
good to know! i just looked at screens for blimp, and they look nice. hopefully the same care gets taken with this game.
Nah never! I'm just saying that people were chatting about how much they disliked the black texturing and then when the updated textures were shown, people still moaned. ;D I would never tell anyone to STFU!
Thanks for comments! We will work on the textures a bit but we are focusing on gameplay mainly. Although in the options there is a switch to black textures. Take it easy.
