While a metroid is a little harder than I hoped, I did make a hammer. Since I couldn't figure out how to get to the stone group I made him fire, and named him magmadin.
No I haven't found a workaround. I think Squirt is updated to where I want him right now though if you can look him up.

When you start out you can store up to three monsters at once, after you gain a few levels you unlock a fourth, and then you can unlock up to four additional slots using in game currency. Thank you kindly for the promo code, will certainly PM you any bugs etc. I find. I was not expecting it to be as good as this though! Got side-tracked with my original ideas and ended up making my Belugun, a whale that's going to have a massive cannon on it's tail. Just need to unlock a few parts and expand the grid so I can increase the epicness! Then I'm onto my Warstrich, an ostrich with side mounted gatling guns and then a Howlitzer, a wolf with artillery attached to it. I must apologise for the lame pun-based names, but the game has brought out that child in me that first loaded up Pokemon Blue and felt like he discovered a new world.

I mentioned this briefly in the initial post, but we'll be including these creations as default monsters in the release version of the game! They'll be the monsters that players see before the game reaches out to our servers and repopulates with new player-created monsters.
