Well thanks I think I'm quite a critical person and that could be annoying for others... but I try to give legitimate reasons for it I haven't seen the Green Lantern yet so I couldn't comment... And yeah, you can PM me about anything.
Thanks for replying, and I will defintley keep you in mind, do you have a pay rate? Also has anyone that has seen green lantern suggest it? Also why is the Greene lantern ring most frequently bought item on eBay!?!
Depends on the work, if it's something I can sit through and finish in one go or something I'll have to keep at for a while... I'm fairly flexible though. Writing is more of a hobby than a job so I'm probably quite reasonable
I'm guessing free is not an option though, But i would need more of an npc writer, and I thought u would be good because your writing shows expression and opion very strongly, and those type of writers can usually make a virtual character feel very realistic and bring emotion to life! A may need you to write a basic beggining story also
Hehe, I hope I'm making a good decision, it's not final yet though, he may not be (but I like the way he expresses his opinions, they are very lively ) SkyMuffin looms interesting, I read some of his samples
So you despise X-Men: First Class, but thought Green Lantern was decent. In your world, is up down, black white, and the moon made out of cheese?
Is that the one where they filled a bunch of socks with nickels and beat the kid named 1stcardchoice for having a lame sig?
I appreciate your reply. Nice to see people who respond in ways other than throwing out curses and racial slurs, eg YouTube.
The Green Lantern sucked something fierce. For 217 Million Budget I expected a lot...a lot more. The story ****ing blew...too predictable...and the CG was so crappily done. I mean come on...217 Million....wtf.
Who me? Have you SEEN Black Dynamite? Ok it's not as amazing as The Blues Brothers (which is probably actually my favorite movie) but it's pretty great.
The Green Lantern was indeed a dumb movie, but it tried to take itself serious with the flashbacks of Hal's dad dying in an explosion, creating emotional drama when he crashed the plane, and forced emotional/romantic tension between him and the forgettable lead actress. The movie was intended to be somewhat grounded. You don't sink over 200 million dollars into a movie you intend to botch. X-Men had a smart script, but granted, it's stupid moments. I don't know what you were expecting, though, to be perfectly honest. The four previous X-Men movies excelled at being shallow action flicks, made hundreds of millions of dollars, and now look incredibly dated. First Class attempted to actual instill something into the plot besides "OMG HE SHOOTS LASERS OUT OF HIS EYES" and you shoot it down. The argument of individuality vs. assimilation has always been a key point in the series. I guess they shouldn't have given motives to the characters that can't be summed up in one sentence.
