people still talk about Star Wars, the godfather, pulp fiction, The Lion King...... I could go on but whats your point.
To be honest, I don't think the movies looked that interesting :/ Immortals looks like another 300 and Clash of the Titans. And J. Edgar looks like a hit or miss for Clint Eastwood..
Immortals was downright awful. Should have seen J.Edgar instead. Such a disappointment in comparison to 300.
On break now, time to frequent the movies again for the next couple of weeks. Thinking about seeing MI: Ghost Protocol, SH: A Game of Shadows, The Muppets, Hugo, and New Year's Eve tomorrow. Not sure which two..meh. Probably the new MI and SH though. Tin Tin and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo next week!
Ended up seeing The Muppets and A Game of Shadows. The Muppets was actually surprisingly good after a slow start. Glad I saw it. Only did so because I woke up too late to be able to fit Hugo into the day. A Game of Shadows was a worthy sequel, but wasn't as good as the original. Downey was great as always though. Worth seeing for sure. Tin Tin, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and MI: Ghost Protocol to see in the upcoming week.
tin tin is not bad, they added alot of action sequences not that are not in the books... can't wait to see A game of shadows though...
Arthur Christmas was a surprisingly good Christmas flick. I thought it was better than Elf; I was constantly chuckling. Of course, if you can't sympathize with humor that isn't vulgar at all, then you won't enjoy it. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.
Haven't watched a lot of movies lately, but at least got to see "A Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Corpse Bride" last week. Both are highly recommended!
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was a great movie. Stellar performance from Rooney Mara. Definitely best leading actress worthy. Daniel Craig was pretty good as well. Long movie, but it picks up in pace pretty fast. Ghost Protocol was a good action film, no more, no less. Lots of new effects/tech, but it's still the same old, same old. Stereotypical story, etc. Very well done popcorn film.
Agreed! But none of those 2011 movies will be great as The Dark Knight Rises, Prometheus, Hobbit Part One, and a bunch of others coming out next year. 2012 here we come.
