Painful weekend for the Box Office. TDKR has already dropped to $64m. Worse though, The Watch and Step Up: Revolution couldn't have flopped harder, taking third and fourth at $13m and $11.8m, respectively. Can't believe Ice Age 4 beat both of the opening films with just $13.3m.

could not see that in a theatre... I have not liked the recent Scorsese movies, (Flame me for saying that!) so I did not try to gather courage.
He loves to inflict so much pain to the protagonist... can't take it without inflicting it on myself. :D :p :(

of course it was, but the wait time was too long, the producers did not trust him with so much money that went into Titanic with huge returns, he said I wont take my director's cut if this bad boy flops, thats when they gave him the money.

The studios are so hungry for money, that they don't trust a guy like James Cameron... its such a shameful situation, I feel sorry for Jimmy!

Finally got around to seeing The Hunger Games, had never read any of the books or whatnot, but it was a pretty solid movie! Looking forward to seeing the sequels!

Hmmm... I thought it was originally going to be two films? Oh well. At least it means they can fit more from the book into the movie. The Hobbit is pretty epic, so I think the split will be fine. Are they filming the other two parts separately or did they film it all at once? I know that both parts of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows were filmed at the same time, and Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3 were filmed alongside each other too.

Django Unchained is delayed to january/february. Damn hate it! Quentin Tarantino must be my favorite director/(screenplay) writer of all time. (Together with Sergio Leone and Christopher Nolan of course)

could not catch that on the big screen... waitinh for the dvd release.

Bout Hobbit... yeah, the more, the better moment of deets frm the book to the celluloid.
also @ 48fps in a few places which'll begin the actual reveloution that Producers are faking with 3d!

bout the delay on django unchained, it'll only get better... dont trust me, trust the mastermind QT. ;)

Yeah, I think the split could be pretty good, depends on how it's done. And I don't exactly know how they're planning on doing the filming...

Really? Cool! I wonder if I should wait to see all four films before I read the trilogy, or read the books first...
