Yeah it sure is. I shared it on my Facebook account it's such a good deal and I don't usually do that.
Seems like you can only do Windows Programs. and not export for IOS unless I missed something. edit: Seems like this is the standard. if you want to export for IOS = $130 Android = $90 .. So.... useless for me right now. Unless I can start selling my App for $1.99 or $4.99 lol Just tried the as Windows installer, but end up with a cnn file (or ccn) which I cannot run ??
Only Demo's, examples, and documentation. I tried the Slotmachine demo, and can't make an exe file etc. edit: you can create an EXE.. had to change the type. so I can create an Windows EXE Windows Screen Saver Java internet Applet sub application or Virtualize app. java webstart That's all
You need a Mac to convert to XCODE as Nightc1 already said above. There is a $100 developers fee for the App Store which is completely separate from the software. Where are you getting these numbers? I recommend you go through all the info and tutorials before you try to export or do anything.
Check ClickTeam's webshop. A mod needs to edit the thread title and post to indicate that the iOS export module is a separate purchase. All export modules are separate purchases.
From their website.. I know about the Apple $100 license... I got that one for a while now. But that's what I wasn't referring to. On the click website, you need to buy the addons, in order to export for those systems. http://www.clickteam.com/ios-export-module So it's not IOS like the thread stated. But I see the post above me answered that too
How do you mean? It's still a great deal as far as I can see for anyone that doesn't want to learn how to code. The creation software usually cost $100 and it seems you can create Windows games/apps with just that. Of course you can also start coding for free in Java!
Yeah i guess so. I'm glad I got this for an awesome price but I was kinda hopeful it's able to export into an iOS build, cause of this thread title. But I'll learn from this software and work from there!
I will ask moderators to change the tread title [to indicate "game development engine" not "iOS" specific]. However, with this software if someone creates a game they are proud enough of I do not think ~$100 for a export module is too restrictive of a deal provided someone has reached the point of having a product to display. There's also the possibility of Kickstarted funding using demo built with this to seek export module and App Store license funding.
Mmf2 Hey guys some of you might remember me as the developer of Vincere Totus Astrum and recently of Tiny a Trek and Noble Armada, all done with MMF2. What you may not know is I am also the vp of us operations for Clickteam, the humble bundle was my doing! I am glad to answer any questions you may have. Thought it might be worth listing some iOS games made in the tool.... Slayin Zorbie Megacity HD Vincere Totus Astrum Pocket ninjas Take my Machete Odd planet Vubu Got more if you want. All the games in the bundle are also MMF2 made. The full version of MMF2 in the bundle will make windows exe, and you can sell them commercially. We have export options for XNA, iOS, Flash And Android. Fire off your questions when ready!
This should have been in the 1st post. Still a nice deal, but seems like outdated (2006-2010 ? ) and version 2.5 is coming in 2014.. Are we getting that update for free? also, when you export to IOS or Android, will it 100% work ? or do you need to change things in Xcode etc ?
Yes its only (whatever you wanted to pay) but I too feel a little grumpy that i threw down money for something that I cant (wont) use. I was interested in making IOS games, not windows .exe files. Oh well.
meh.... the bank called and blocked my card, due to suspicious transaction for this program.. GREAT.... now I need to wait for a new card...
