The dev edition does not have the exporter. You can look at the product comparison chart which shows you the differences. The biggest difference I saw between the normal and developer edition was that you don't have the MF or Clickteam logo on your game in the dev edition.
I believe that's a good way to approach it, making sure you have you design down, and your game close or ready and than get the iOS license. I've messed around with Cocos 2D a little bit but more so with Corona SDK. I'll say that Lua is definitely an easy language/script to learn and there seems to be an awesome community and a bunch of tutorials for Corona. Super fast getting a game up in that. You just need a simple IDE such as Notepad or Sublime Text.
It's also whas used (along with cocos 2d) to make siege hero. The box2d part is the physics side that determines how things react to collision.
No Angry birds was not sorry, What he ment to say is that Box2d Physics was used to make Angry Birds. And the latest version of the tool CF2.5 has Box2d built in. MMF2 has a external box2d plugin you can download. Though I think it's windows only. Not sure.. But the upgraded latest version gives you Box2d across all platforms. But for a Buck you can try out MMF2 and see if it is something you can use, then upgrade to the latest and pick up the exporter for iOS once you have something worthy of working towards publishing.. Humble Bundle: https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly
I did the request for the upgrade... although I see on the website now that this is not valid for the Humble deal... So have 2 different answers :/ So I guess W'll see what I get.
It was a older post I am sure a couple of days ago we decided to honor the 40.00 upgrade to CF2.5 from the Humble Bundle MMF2, PM if you get stuck!
Got the code, and bought the new version Thanks for this awesome deal.. Now it's time to figure things out
I have a large growing list I am keeping on Steam http://steamcommunity.com/app/248170/discussions/0/666828126951531546/ of games made in Fusion, Just touched the iceberg, but I thought you guys might be interested in seeing it... I need help with a lot of things.. lol. Did figure some things out with help from the forum search.. Now I am working in the Space Invader type example, that offered some items to implement.. Still figuring out how to make the aliens shoot.. Got the lives and score done. Did also look at that sudoku example someone posted on your forum, Need to wrap my brain around it on how things are done, and where to find them. It seems that you need to make a rule for every object and movement.
Let me see how many interested people we have, that might determine how many I can shake out of the system
I've had MMF2 (and TGF) for a while now but never got any of the exporters, If you gave away some IOS exporters I would plunk down some humble money. Heck I might do it anyway, it's always good to support small developers. How much different is Fusion compared to MMF2?
If you mean Clickteam Fusion vs MMF2 then the addition of Box2d physics, refined editors, Html5 export would be the biggest changes. Their is a complete list on Clickteam.com
I would be very interested in an Android exporter instead of the iOS one, as that was my original intended use. I want to use MMF to prototype possible ideas (including a few already in design stage) for Android to pick out the most promising ones.
