I'm with Midian on the how it's hard to have fun with the iOS version after trying the console/vita version, though I can still see that the iOS version is a great game for the iOS platform. I'm feeling the same after playing the Vita version. I actually ended up buying the console version BECAUSE of the Vita version. They're both a blast.
Of course, I think the console one is a total blast as well. But, to me anyway, they are on completely different platforms. We all know iOS is not at a console level. Yet. It's getting closer but its like putting a world heavyweight boxing champion in the ring with the welterweight boxing champion, we all know how that's gonna end. It's quite simply an unfair comparison and each game should be judged within the context of its own platform.
I know, that's why I said it's a great game for the iOS platform. I just haven't played it anymore since getting the console version.
The cool thing about having the Vita version and/or the ps3 version is your points add up and will add to what you have on the iphone/ipod touch.

Both the ios and the ps3/psVita versions are great, but the ios is geared more towards quick races, and the ps3 to exploration, racing with each car and multiplayer. I am thoroughly enjoying both!
Many people have bought it without IAP's. You just have to grind. @Rip73 I am beginning to think that race is impossible. Unless they release a NFS tuned car in the sports category, I don't think I will get gold. I have tried the race about 30 times, all times with mods, and I always get second. On another note I beat your time again by 1.5 seconds. Do you have gold on that race and if so, HOW!?!
Finished the game got the Aventador, was going to grind up some money. Then I realized a lot of the higher end cars are still SP locked to me. I wanted the Agera R next but I need 160k more SP! I got a lot of golds already, but I was getting by using the minimal car lists, what did you guys do to unlock the higher end cars with SP? Any quick way to get tons of it?
If he has finished most events with golds, how else can he get SP? I'm not clear on the ways SP can be acquired. Just know I get some every now and then.
You get SP when you earn achievments. Go to your profile and you can see your achievments, including the ones you haven't completed yet.
The "quick" way is by playing it in multiple platforms and adding up the SP ... I just have it on my iPad and have 723.000 SP and checked the remaining "achievements" i have to complete and seem to be just enough to get past the 800.000 SP (Bugatti) ... So if u are in just one platform like me u will have to play ... A lot. (One of the achievements is "get gold in 250 races" ... Thats gonna take long :S)
