I tried your code but was told that the code is only valid for customers of Australia, Spain, Austria, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom or Sweden. Oh well...

For you that are getting "sorry this promotion is closed" there is a simple solution
Install HotSpot Shield (free 7 day trial) and go to IGN, you will get the code (that's what I did) but I think in order to redeem it you need to have US Itunes acc.
After that just uninstall the program, only leftovers of it are in ProgramData folder
