Looking for a challenge on the Speedwall! Origin ID: adamdbuhler Found this thread through a Google search. I love playing this game! While I'd love for true multiplayer, I can only settle for beating times on the Speedwall. Add me and let's compare our best on the Speedwall. I play often so chances are good I'll accept quickly. I've added everyone I could from all 11 previous pages. See if you can beat my Speedwall posts! As an aside, has anyone else experienced a glitch in recording times on the Speedwall in the Checkpoint events? It seems I have to get a faster or equal time to get the last fastest time or less to show up on the Speedwall. Also, how the heck can anyone get a time less than 1:00.00 on the Bottom Rung event in Reynolds Lane (the first Most Wanted car #10)? I see someone on my Speedwall with 0:31.39 as the time and I can't fathom how they did it!
The way I did Longest Tracks was on the Peterson St track in the Uptempo race. Very light traffic and wide roads are helpful. I used the NFS Carrera but really you can do it with just about any sports car. The secret is learning how to drift when the road is straight and then being able to gently transition from left/right without loosing control. It took me about 2 hours but I mastered it. For Only a Scratch I went to Reynolds Lane and did the Highway Battle race. The idea is that you use your fastest car (ideally the Veyron) with the Power Pack and Nitrous Burn mods to get to the end of the race as fast as you can (I can get there in less than 1:00.00) then right after the last road block and before the finish line slam on the brakes and start slamming into the guard rails in reverse and forward several times to knock both bumpers off. Once one side is loose on the rear bumper then drag the car along the guard rails in reverse on the corner that's still attached. It should come off soon. You have to finish the race 1st to get the achievement so that gives you about 26 seconds +/- to knock off the bumpers before the next car finishes the race. If you can loosen up the back bumper or knock off the front bumper before you get to the finish then that's better. Took me about 30 minutes to master it. Good luck! Glad I can share with everyone!
