I just want a GOOD racing game to have online multiplayer. Im very disappointed Real Racing doesnt offer that.
How do we know it's coming out at the same time as the other SKUs? It could be a year away for all we know.
NFS: Shift Has anyone heard anything at all about the status of Need for Speed: Shift. The console versions are due out on Sept. 15th and there hasn't been any buzz at all about the iphone / ipod touch version, since the initial announcement that it would be coming. I know that EA is probably focused on the release of Madden 10, but NFS: Shift is another huge and highly anticipated title. I figured there would have at least been some kind of update on where they are with it. I don't quite get the hold up. Besides, Gameloft is on a spree right now, popping out hot stuff back to back.
This video impressed me much, much more ... Writing a player's driving profile in real time is extremely exciting.
Shift needs head to head multiplayer, period. Also, swiping down should cut off the boost once you've activated it.
First they need to add an gas pedal, then add some AI (NFSU had none), then design some decent tracks that are actually challenging! Only then should they consider adding those extra features. But its EA, so they'll probably just add the new features and not fix the problems with NFSU!
