iPad 1 and 3GS shouldn't be grouped together. Pretty sure iPad 1 is same tier as the iPhone 4, both use the A4. It's unlikely this won't be iPhone 3GS compatible, but still possible. I'd say by the next update of the iphone or ipod touch, they're gonna start cutting compatibility.
I'd have to believe it will be iPad 1 compatible, no matter what. I'm very hopeful this will drop during May, which seems likely barring any Apple issues. Given the size of the game, I'll probably just plan on playing this on my next iOS device, even though it'll likely work on my A4 device, too. I'm just hoping it'll be fully optimized for the new iPad no matter what.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees. So happy that this won't be freemium rubbish like some of their other games. I'm so excited for it now.

Yup, montreal team did a great job with MC3 although updates have been lacking. Edit: just realized this looks more like crysis than halo and I like crysis more
Here's what touchgen said on their website: "We played the game yesterday, but we can’t share our thoughts on it, or show the 5 minutes of gameplay footage we shot, until early next week. "
the game looks awesome, but i think that they are recycling city maps from modern combat 3 ,what do you think???
No, it is not. Sorry for the size 7 here, but: IF IT LOOKS GOOD WHO CARES WHAT ENGINE IT'S USING? IT DOESEN'T MATTER.
Well maybe I should update it to "If it looks good and runs well who cares what engine it's using? It doesen't matter". But that would make unreal engine games look so much worse for us iPod users, because they quite often don't run very well.
If it looks good, that's great but the engine matters in relation to how well it will run and how much space it will take up. Plus the engine gives us an indicator as to how good it will look basically. In the longer gameplay though, it is very reminiscent of MC3 which definitely looks very good. The character looks much better though. Hopefully it has been upgraded though because MC3 got very stutters on my older iPhone 4. It works great on iPad 2 and iPhone 4s but I'd guess a lot of people don't have an a5 chip in their device. Plus MC3 takes up a hell of a lot of space. Unreal games look great but use a lot of memory and space Personally I think Unity make a better suited engine to mobile devices when you consider Shadowgun because it doesn't take up huge amounts of space, runs very well and looks great. So hopefully Gameloft have optimised their engine in a similar way to Unity. Not saying it just to disagree and you're point is valid but a good engine should make both a good looking game but also good frame rate and gameplay.
