Personally, I'm taking that as a good sign that a release date could be sooner than I expected. All the main sites in europe and U.S. seem to have had gameplay yesterday or today. Looking back at Gamelofts previous patterns, gameplay impressions tend to come about two weeks before a game launches. It is very unusual for them to announce the game and give gameplay impressions on the same day. Plus all the sites seem to have an embargo on putting gameplay impressions up until early next week which I think will be when the launch date will be announced. It looks good for a sooner release than normal for Gameloft.
If anyone has problems contacting their CS, have you tried contacting on Twitter or Facebook? I always see on their Twitter people who complain to them about lack of CS, but then they actually reply to those people and help them.
Add someone who demands crap, thinks he's got the right over the developers, and believes that his single 1-star review means anything, and you've got your average iTunes reviewer who knows nothing about app development! Seriously, they don't give two shits.
Hey guys, idk if this has been posted before, but on the gameloft FB page it says: "Soon for iPhone, iPad and Android!" Not a single mention of iPods
I've done some 3D graphics design before and can confirm that the video is in game footage, probably cinematics but rendered real time. Either that or their pre rendered cinematics team has become a lot worse Looks very impressive, although it probably won't look quite so good on my device ;(
Does the fact that this is going to be premium mean we can say goodbye to freemium from Gameloft? They shoudve learned the lesson by now.Ughh DH3 was a fail!!
I really, REALLY doubt it, but I hope that it will persuade them to make more premium games than they have been making. I hope it doesn't push them into the direction of paidium games.
So gameloft let all these websites play and film it and it hasn't gotten leaked yet? I thought atleast touchgen would 'accidently' leak video footage of it. Hehe
Kotaku has an exclusive video: http://kotaku.com/5905910/gamelofts-newest-mobile-game-looks-a-lot-like-crysis-2
Hrrm, that's odd. Seems like they've ditched the Halo concept and has now made it a Crysis clone. I've actually become more excited for it now.
