Have you used ios7 for a period yet? Its pretty good once you get used to it. If you're a JB nut I understand holding off but I cant imagine the initial displeasure of using ios7 outweighing the pain of not getting to play ios7 only games.

No way I'm gonna download an update for iOS that uses 100 more MB than the previous version, that doesn't have jb yet, that makes some games incompatible and that doesn't add anything that makes me want to update just to play a game that somehow it's iOS 6 supported in 0.2.0 and isn't in 0.2.1.

Chair said that they're having some problems with this matter and that they're trying to solve them and they won't release any big content update until that's fixed, so all I want to know is if MF has anything planned for iOS 6 support or some people and me should just forget about the game for a while.

I still would bet that more the percentage is much lower among hardcore gamers and even tech savvy people who don't want to deal with issues in the early part of an iOS release. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that the vast majority of users on this forum haven't upgraded.

yeah, I tried(I have to in fact) but the animations drive me crazy, the poor contrast in general hurts my eyes and too many issues right now(don't get me started on audio that was the only huge diff between Android and iOS and they found a way to break that...).

sloppyui.tumblr.com really shows that it needs to mature. they have one year to get things back on track; on par with the level I've been accustomed to.

It's a brand new game, and it requires the newest OS. Call me crazy, but this isn't shocking. I can't imagine every big new game will work with every version of IOS, and that's an understandable developer decision. Now, if a new game was released that didn't support the latest version of IOS, that would be a reason to get pissed off.

It hurts your eyes and the animations drive you crazy?! Geez that sounds intense. Good idea to not upgrade then. Had no idea an OS with a few rough edges could have implications on peoples health.

Playing this on i5. Sure is pretty. I wasn't a fan of the 1st so I might hold off getting stuck into this until the MFi controllers drop.

well, it seems it has lol:

even though I wouldn't go that far as far as my experience goes but it's really too much. too much in your face. the font, even with the bold settings and some tweakering is rendering so badly the text it's hard to read.

so nothing good for me here (many musical apps too that would not work on top of that!).

I agree. It's a big problem. I was gonna get an iPad Air/Retina Mini and sell my iPad 3 but a lot of games have a) no update and b) app store reviews about bugs since iOS 7. My optimistic side says that those people just have devices that are suffering from less RAM and an iPad Air would have no problems, but its not worth the risk upgrading at the moment.

Anyway still got a bazillion games I've bought and not played yet! Won't hurt to play this next year.

You're missing the point. All most of us want to know is why it requires iOS 7. If there's a legitimate reason, then that's fine. But if not, it makes no sense to alienate a portion of gaming population that doesn't WANT to upgrade to the new OS because of other problems it causes.

My son downloaded Windows 8.1. Drivers are all screwed up and he's pissed. That's why some people, myself included, think it's better to wait to upgrade to any OS when things are more stable, bugs have been squashed and devs with older games can make them compatible. Software makers for Windows games would be doomed if they didn't include older OS versions to be compatible (at least the second newest version at the very least). I doubt there's very many - if any - games that require Windows 8.

Is it too much to just ask why iOS 7 is required? I don't think so.

    LOL. Yeah what he said.

  11. Where's the casino???

  12. You should just be quiet, because you don't know how hard it is to develop a game. Reserve judgement until you do, or at the very least know why it isn't iOS 6 compatible.

You don't need to be jail broken to pirate Apps, so hopefully that's not the reason. In fact if all you want to do is pirate Apps you shouldn't bother with jail breaking anyway, just re-sign your Apps on your computer.

It also helps prevent some exploits and simple things like save file editing.

"By the afternoon of September 25th, 2013, one week following the release of iOS 7, over 51% of North American iOS-based Web traffic was generated by iOS 7 users..."
If the game doesn't work for you, that sucks.
When you upgrade to iOS7, or a device that can, this seems better than the first game. In almost every way.

This game needs iOS7 due to of the Controller support API's!! Ppl here are complaining and babbling bs and what not but they don't even have the slightest clue about the operating System they are using.

  18. Now, we just need to figure out where those joysticks are...

I'm sorry but complaining that an app isn't compatible with iOS 6 isn't a valid complaint and I for one hope that devs push support for the MANY advancements in iOS 7. If compatibility with older OS's can be maintained then great! But not at the cost of the many of us who've simply taken an hour to update their 4S's, 5's, and Minis to iOS 7.

On the other hand, requiring internet connectivity is a no-no. I wasn't a fan of the original's shallow gameplay but I'll give this a shot today and give feedback.
