That's idiotic. If it's the same game you're getting for the DS and PSP (minus some resolution), AU $13 is a tremendous deal.

It's 3.1.2. I'll have to google search and see if there's a jailbreak out yet, and hopefully it won't take long.

I hope apple does continue with yearly small hardware upgrades the app store is going to get confusing as the platform continues to diversify

Kunning, I've played through Chinatown Wars on the DS, and the graphics are better here.

I don't understand the technical stuff, but DS textures are a series of big squares, while on the iPod those squares are blended together so you can't tell. If that makes any sense.

NDS version has ~60MB, PSP ~800MB, iPhone ~200MB. So... What was cutted?

    Doing nothing of importance.

Ok, there's a way to bypass this if I remember. I had iSamurai on my iPod 1g for a while, even though it was 2g and above. If you had the little file in it that let you install cracked ipa's from iTunes (I always kept it around just in case of emergency), it also let you install apps normally incompatible with your device. It's a guess, but an educated one as I noticed that when I removed it, it stopped working.

Try it out with a free app like iSamurai Lite or something first before spending the 10 bucks.

Are the controls on this any good? I've never been all that impressed with the virtual joysticks, although some are better than others...

Won't it run poorly, I can't understand why rockstar would put that limitation on it if it wasn't performance based.

This game is amazing. Basically a slightly upscaled version of the Nintendo DS game.

It's called CUT. And iPhone games aren't generally large. Resident Evil, a FULL 3D game with a lot of features was less then 10 MB. Big file size doesn't mean the game is big.

They have to make back the money they lost from the DS version, lolz......I'm gonna wait and see what the early adopters think of it and then wait some more for a price drop or when it's on special.

Do you have to jailbreak though? I hope not. I'm not a fan of jailbreaking.

Then AU $13 is an outrage! They can't charge more than $1.99 on this platform!
