Can anyone recall the release date, i'm sure a speculative release date was issued but i cant find it in the thread
It's on page 7 of the thread. It's stated that the release date is set for feb. 28th. Can't wait for this one.
So I finished this recently and gotta say it's really great and for the amount of gameplay in it well worth the price point! The game is set up so you have a bar and you earn money by selling food you make. There is a in game calender which progresses to the next day when you open the bar, you are allowed to go to one dungeon or town besides Casselburg everyday. It plays a lot like your classic RPG games you have skills, magic, items, and standard attacks. From battles you earn AP which will let you learn different skills and what enemies you are fighting will determine what element of AP you earn. Exp is earned from eating the food you make, on the list of recipes it will show you how much exp it gives, how much it sells for and if it gives a buff to stats or not. You can get ingredients from fighting monsters and there are some on the ground of the dungeons as well. These will reset each time you come back to the dungeons but treasure chests will not. The game itself has a pretty good story and is really quite fun to play, fans of classic RPGs will really love this. After finishing the main story there still plenty of secrets to uncover and lots of super tough bad guys to fight!
For those of you wondering, here's how it looks on the ipad using the 2x button (full screen). Its not perfect, but since the art is pixelated, its not bad.
Yeah and it's got a ton of content, I'm at 39 and a half hours and haven't gotten 100% of the recipes or combo meals!
Really? This game looks so great, it should start as $5 as a launch price! Will buy, regardless if it has universal support or not. I hope it gets it in the future, and I'd be willing to test it with an iPad 1. Anyway, I love the artwork.
Wait... ummm... you're not suppose to be encouraging price increases; I think that can get you banned around here. Although $0.99 does seem like a steal.
