I never played the newer Heroes of Might and Magic, but, if you enjoyed HoMM 1 and 2 (did I play 3? Don't remember) this should be up your alley. undeadcow Well-Known Member Dec 4, 2010 9,493 2 36 Houston, TX #4 undeadcow, Jun 14, 2013 Last edited: Jun 14, 2013 I am a fan, it's an amazingly faithful reproduction of Heroes of Might and Magic 2 for iOS. Palm Kingdoms 2, non-deluxe, is free to download and try. If you've never played HOMM2 it's a world exploration/conquest game with resource collection / army management. Palm Kingdoms 2 is a fun game. One thing about Palm Kingdoms is that there are a ton of "expansion" IAP maps. I purchased all of them but it might turn some people off. There's no strong plot and PK2 plays sort of like a digital board game (turn based, different "players"/fractions, focus on exploring the board). The developer is making Palm Kingdoms 3 so there's more to come. It goes to proper landscape mode only when I start campaign, before that in menus it's upside down of what landscape should be. Very good game in old Heroes style , a lot of different encounters and enemies, but also has so many additional campaigns and maps as IAPs, way over my head in number of IAPs here. drelbs Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2009 11,200 7 38 #10 drelbs, Jun 16, 2013 As others have said - if you're a fan of the early Heroes of Might & Magic, this is basically HoMM2 for iOS. So I had to console myself with Palm Kingdom Classic which is at 1$... Palm Kingdom 2 Deluxe, is it like a different game ? With different quests, heroes, environments, etc? Or is it more like an updated, upgraded of the Classic Version? Cos if I manage not to miss the price drop again!? I would definitely be jumping on the Deluxe version. Thanks for your answers ddubois Member Aug 9, 2011 7 0 0 #15 ddubois, Nov 29, 2013 It's on sale again, 99 cents. Supposedly the IAPs are on sale as well, but I can't tell what the normal price for them usually is. Does anyone know which of the other 9 IAPs are covered within the "(ALL MAPS) Mega-Pack" for $3.99? I mean, is there non-map content, like new heroes or whatever? Oh well, I'll just buy it I guess.
