i'll definitly purchase this when it's available, glad to see a female character in the game is there more than 1? how many of the hero planes are IAP?
sheer numbers from watching the trailer a few times, it looks like it's very easy to get over run by enemies by sheer numbers & i'm guessing that the difficulty increases as you advance (which i hope for) if the gameplay is as good as the trailer you've a fan.
Thanks guys. We're so close to finalising the launch date now, we should be able to give an exact day at some stage this week. A - There are 4 Flying Aces (Heroes) at launch and 3 of them are purchasable with IAP. We're planning on adding loads more over the coming months plus new levels and other fun expansions. A - There are female enemies, heroes and..... toucans so well covered!
any game center achievements and are there difficultly settings & graphics settings? finally what idevices will this run on ? thanks
- Yeah there are achievements. We're also planning to add loads more in the first big update. - There are 3 difficulty settings. Completing a level on the highest difficulty gives the biggest reward. - There are no graphical setting per say, it just uses the native retina resolution for all devices. It looks gorgeous on retina iPads - Supports all devices from iPhone\iPod 4 or later and all iPads. - Maps are all very different and because your protecting a ship and not an exit they feels very different to the current big TD games.

Gorgeous TD This tower defence looks insane, I can't wait to get my hands on it! Awesome graphics, animations and the gameplay looks very fast paced...need to get Pirate Legends, I see this as being one of the best games this fall.
Any chance of seeing some actual gameplay? can the player activated powers & towers be upgraded? Do the 4 different hero flying aces each have different abilities ?
We're really close to finalising the date now, will post it in the next 1-2 days We're planning to release more gameplay footage later this week. Some of the player activated powers are fully customisable, in particular the ones fired from the players pirate ship. Eg: You can launch a turtle that deploys a massive cannon from its back, once it hits the water. This can then be upgraded into a mega killing machine The flying aces each have unique powers. One has Hellfire missile barrage(x20) and bad ass homing sidewinders! Others have sea mines, oils slicks...etc. All of them have machine guns that strafe but some are more nasty than others.
Your in luck! That "I like turtles" believe it or not is one of the Voiceovers that play when you fire the power!
