I can't seem to infect new guinea any help on that.... I know I should know this but I just bought it yesterday I'm using bacteria but which is best to infect it water transport bugs etc . EDIT:Sorry im new and didn't see the other page buttons don't know if this has been answered yet but I guess I will leave it up invade it hasn't
Can you make a specific strategy for fungal mode (on Brutal, preferably). I don't really care where it starts, I'm just very stuck and the fungus strategy you posted didn't work for me.
Do the Parasite, Prion, and Bio-Weapon types require different strategies, or do they work like other strategies? I noticed that there were no strategies for Prion or Parasite, and only 1 or 2 for Bio-Weapon.
I like getting Water 1/2, Air 1/2 and then the Extreme Bioaerosol upgrade and that usually gets around fast, but because New Guinea only has a harbor, you only need Air 1 and Water 1/2 to get the Bioaerosol upgrade (i think). Also, what mode are you playing on? (plague type and difficulty) I can give you a better idea after I know that.
You are losing because the world is not completely infected and the plague kills off all the infected people so they can't infect others. A strategy: To begin: - I like starting in Saudi Arabia. - DO NOT upgrade symptoms until it gives you the "Everyone is infected" message. - Upgrade transmission! - Upgrading water/air so you can get Extreme Bioaerosol is good. - Blood transmission when it gets to Africa also works. - They won't cure it (because of no symptoms) - Whenever it mutates, devolve it IMMEDIATELY! When the world is 100% infected: - Go to the world menu and make sure there are no healthy people. - Devolve EVERYTHING! To win: - Evolve Anaemia - Then get Haemophilia, Internal Haemorrhaging and Hemorrhagic Shock If they start a cure: - Evolve Insomnia - Move towards getting Coma - Get Drug Resistance, Genetic Hardening, and Genetic ReShuffle. - If you have points, you can get Insanity and Dysentry. You win!
Sorry been spending a bit of time with wife just found out shes prgnant yesterday but seems others are getting the hang and coming up with strats too. Soon I'm going to make more agressive strats for scoring.
My guess is you need to infect all of the Superpowers apart from one and in retaliation the infected one will order the launch of nuclear strikes. Will Cold 2 survive a Nuclear Winter? Also how do you view achievements?
Bio-Weapon Is there any chance we could get a detailed description of how to successfully complete the Bio-Weapon? I have come extremely close a few times, however my plague ends up killing off all the infected people and there are very few remaining healthy people that have nobody to infect them. Thank you very much!
Fungus? I've been having alittle trouble with beating the fungus (normal, Saudi Arabia start)- and finally i had a good run going, i was going to kill everyone before the cure would've came close to being finished... and my app crashed and made me start over. Is there anything i can do to avoid this crashing losing my game? :/
I'm struggling to unlock the first disease... I get so close to finishing the first one, and I kill around 1billion people, they release a cure and I lose. Great game though! Would you say this is better than Pandemic 2.5?
Help! So I am still trying to beat bacteria but no matter What I do I can't. I tried zyzdoxing's theory but still Wouldn't work I think I'm waiting to long to Start killing people off, but I I start too soon The world isn't infected enough. What is the best Way to beat bacteria? I love this game and would Actually like to move on but I just can't. Anyone With An idea of when to start killing the planet off Or anything o that nature please help me.
You can unlock all plagues (including the bonus cheat plagues) without beating them all on Brutal if you have a jailbroken phone. App folder > Documents > global_settings.ini Add these lines anywhere: bacteria=2 escaped-bio-weapon=2 fungus=2 parasite=2 prion=2 rogue-nanobot=2 virus=2 Remove any other instances of these variables, save, and restart the app. Done!
