For those who want a challenge, go to the options menu and set battle style to 'set' instead of 'shift'. I've been doing this and hard battles require much more strategy. (basically you can't switch your front pokemon when the Opponents pokemon faints, like in wifi battles)
I have Snivy eggs if anyone is interested in the grass starter. And one level 1 Rufflet. Also have an extra Celebi event for unlocking Zorua in Castelia City. Just got to Nimbassa City and got the bike (finally!). I like the whole feel of this game. Everything is so new and no other region Pokemon in the game... Feels like I'm playing Pokemon Blue again, seriously. Anyone notice that the player's mom is really young in this game? She looks like she can be the character's sister. Definitely "knocked up" at an early age-- 16

Search up the "Relocator". If you didn't send the Celebi through it, then it won't work and there's no chance of the event working.
So do we need to both be online at the same time for it to work? Cuz I don't have a WEP connection at my house so I'll need to go out to gamestop or somewhere.
You need to go to the password man and give him two passwords to unlock the Relocator. You will then need two DS systems to transfer Celebi over. And yeah.. You can take an egg. Just PM me when you're ready. I think my FC is on the first page. We need to be online to trade. I'm not sure if the original DS works or not. Best place to train your Pokemon to level 50 with Lucky Egg is at Driftveil City's "Cold Storage." there are lots of shaky patches of Audinos
The problem is the original DS and even the DS Lite don't have support for WPA connections. They can only connect to WEP ones. One of the worst decision ever by Nintendo considering WEP sucks.
