This looks promising. I was so disappointed after GeoSociety died (developer stopped updating, went silent and that was the end of that). It was a shame, because I really think there's a massive market for Poke-type games on iOS. Especially after I went through all the effort of updating the Geo Wiki! Such a waste. Here's to hoping you guys won't go the same way. The creature designs look fantastic, and there needs to be a mix of cute and more detailed creatures. The more variety, the better. Very much looking forward to this. EDIT: Having a closer inspection of the monsters, they seem very Kazuma Kaneko inspired. For those that don't know, Kaneko creates the fantastic creatures we all know and love from the Persona series and the Shin Megami Tensei series. I am now super excited.
There are over 200 monsters, hopefully we are covered on variety. As for cute monsters...there are some.....We added more monsters on the first page for people to check out. Thanks for all the feedback.
We are trying out a new exploration system designed to fully utilize the touchscreen. There will be over 200 points of interests on the world map, each one representing a Random Encounter, Event, Town, Dungeon, etc. Instead of moving around the map with a virtual d-pad (which many people dislike), you can simply tap on any adjacent point of interest to travel towards that direction (with an animated sprite). Because the path ways you can take are extremely diverse, it will not feel like you are walking a pre-determined course. We are hoping that with this the essence of exploration is kept alive while avoiding the nuisance of the virtual d-pad.
Everything in this game looks good exept that local area screenshot....that looks like crap from a old dos game.
This guy has artistic talent. If the controls don't come off too clumsy, this will definitely be a funtastic (GET IT? HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA) game.
I also applied yesterday, looking forward to playing this game and hopefully helping out with the beta process.
i will reply as soon as we are ready for beta (hopefully early next week). Sorry to have you waiting.
