    Super Fly Before and After

Ok, here are the Before and After pics for my upcoming game Super Fly! Its a survival shooter with an upgrade shop. I tried to mix concepts from a bunch of successful games, added some ideas of my own and applied them all to a shooting/fighting game.

In the game, you work your way from being armed with only a stick with a nail in it up to a jet aircraft with missiles. I made it easy to expand in future updates so it will be fun to evolve the game.

Super Fly! COMING SOON! August 22!

Love this thread. Glad its back.

Nice work on Bubble Pets. And the description on itunes made me laugh a few times. Just for that this might be my next purchase.

I hope the second one is after because at least the camera angle is better in that one.

Loving this thread (all 12 pages of it!) fascinating stuff.

OK well I originally wrote my game 'Roll On' for the Acorn Archimedes series of computers around 15 years ago. The original looked like this (and these screenshots are full resolution - they look tiny now but were fullscreen at the time!):

Here are some work in progress shots from the iPhone version (gradually improving from top to bottom).

and here's what the latest released version looks like:

I want to play the big plank version too! One thing I hate is moving on from an old version that's fun but less acceptable to the masses.

    Expedition: Beyond the Walls

Here is an early version with early map, early dice... early EVERYTHING.

And here is the same map in the initial release.

It's come a long way! I should take a picture of the wooden cubes I used as dice in the very early planning stages! There's also new icons in the latest version that aren't in the one shown there. I guess I'll have to take MORE screenies and update again!

In Portaball I draw every level on paper and then I wire it into a game. It's actually before and after process, so I guess it fits here.

Gravitrixx - before and after :D

    Hey all!

Our latest game, Gravitrixx, has just been submitted, so I thought I'd post the very first shots of the game - and then what happened when an artist (Joe from Fire Maple Games) got to grips with it!

Here's the original menu and the very first test scene:

And here's what it looks like today, two months later and waiting to burst onto the app store:
