Looks gorgeous, to be sure. I'm hoping it will be playable as a premium game and not require IAP for basic play.

*sigh* Love the way this is turning out, but I am not looking forward to seeing how IAP is implemented.
I don't think it's going to be that bad now that we know that it's a premium app. We'll see soon enough
I'm pretty sure it won't be necessary (much like the IAP in PoP: Classic), but still...buying lives was odd. Oh well, t'is the way of the iOS world, unfortunately.

well to their credit it looks a great deal faster than that of the original game that they're trying to modernize.
I really like the looks of this. And no, it isnt slow. As Brrobotix mentioned, the original was a tad slower.
To be specific, I'm referring to the parts of the gameplay video where the Prince is moving from platform to platform. The movements seem at lot less fluid than they could be. Might be just me. All the other movements - fighting, etc., seem very fluid in comparison.

Looks great. I just hope they put timers on how often you can jump, and you can pay with premium diamonds to jump like crazy. Would be cool... ...
Prince of Persia: The Shadow and the Flame will release on Android, iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch for £1.99 later this month. What's that equivalent to in US currency?
