Tomorrow we will be sending out a slightly updated build of the Joan's early beta.

Also will be sending out a build of our another game, Little Boat River Rush.

In the moment we have like 30 new requests to approve for tomorrow - so, it's very likely that we will close the registration after about 18 hours since this post.

Some news about the game

First, we're extending our beta program registration. Got 50-70 more slots in addition to a few hundred that have already signed up. In order for us to be able to send a beta to you, you'll need to register your device on TestFlight by logging into your account from your device. Only requests from users with at least one device registered will be approved. The new registration will be closed when we'll have somewhat about 70 new devices registered. Sign up here.

Second, we are now close to sending out a new beta build to all beta program members. Still no UI, but more like a game now. You'll be able to run and gun trough about 10 new locations, 27 sections each (randomly selected from ~100 sections per location). Still without bosses. And after it we'll have more time to continue programming of weapons left to program and the game UI.

When you'll get new beta. We'll really appreciate your opinion on levels and how you like it overall. Because, levels will be a bit more harder, then in the current beta, you have already played.

And, the third:

It's confirmed, the game will definitely be premium with no IAP - so, don't get scared too much about in game coins, when you look through screenshots.

1. Death.

Probably the most beautiful screen from the tonight update. Upon death you'll be able to either resurrect or fly a bit further as a death spirit collecting blood and souls of enemies with the effect like the Satanic Gun, we wrote earlier about, has. On the background you may find one of bosses.



2. Some secret level.

On secret levels, beyond usual three platforms, you'll be able to find some unique items, like, for example, color crystals for your plasma sword, and much more.



3. Mission accomplished screen + double kill combo + mission log screen.





4. Plasma sword color crystals upgrade.

You'll be able to change color of your plasma sword blade by using color crystals found on secret levels.



5. The upgrade and etc menu.

The update still needs work.

We added more locations, levels, programmed power-ups and more weapons, but we are shy to let it go public yet because levels sometime feel like a bit empty and needed to be edited to be more interesting.

So, we work hard to make it happen asap.

So, as you might notice already we rolled out the new beta tonight.

Meet the first boss on the third level, the Jonny Boy, power-ups, limited ammo with option to pick up more on the level, the new guns like reducer and resizer, new music, sounds and more.

I'm trying to record the video of my boss fight now.

It's a bit blurry with HD DSLR cam, so, I'll probably use some other way.

Can anyone here record good quality iOS gameplay videos?

 

So, here is the video of the new beta - watch the all of it.

Has nice music which plays when different power-ups are in effect.

And the first boss fight.

Watch it to know how to beat the boss.

I'm starting playing by slicing a few enemies with the katana. Then I'm using the new reducer/resizer gun with quite nice sounds. After it, as I need to quickly make to the third level to fight the boss, I'm switching to the mass-kill satanic gun. On the second level I'm lucky to feel the bloodlust power-up. Then, I'm entering the boss level and egaging him to fight. Dealing with him quite tricky. You need to evade attacks.

Took me like about a minute and half to kill him.

And... enjoy the beta

More like a game now. Has power-ups and limited ammo. Last makes you think a bit strategically if you are up to make further through the levels.
